Rihanna was the surprise guest performer at the 2011 Academy Of Country Music Awards last night.
The R&B singer took to the stage to perform with Jennifer Nettles, wearing a Versace Spring 2011 dress.
I’m sure you’re just as surprised as I am that Rihanna didn’t opt for the runway colourful version. I guess she didn’t want upstage her co-performer.
Rihanna’s more subtle, shorter white Versace halter neck leather dress with a white leather fringe detail falling from the neckline, was again surprisingly pair with simple black pumps.
She was full of surprises.

I like it because she’s not trying too hard.
I like that she toned down her look. It is something different for her but I don’t think the neckline is that flattering on her.

Very very good, beautiful dress and for the first time her hair don’t grab all the atention!
Fabulous! She is amazing.
It was a perfect choice for her appearance. You could see every movement of the dress (and it moved a lot) as she walked back and forth across the stage. And when the two ladies started to sing, their clothes took second stage anyway. I loved this look on Rihanna, including her hair.
couldnt she have chosen just some white gown? i mean going thru the trouble of modifing such an amazing gown into a simple white one? doesnt make any sense to me. & she should have worn the runway version. her performane was HORRIBLE so at least she would have looked awesomely.
I don’t like it. The colorful version would have worked better.
And, it’s too tight.
