Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Monthly Archives: March 2011

Sharon Stone gave us some old Hollywood glamour on the red carpet at the Gorby 80 Gala At The Royal Albert Hall in London tonight.

The blonde actress is frustratingly inconsistent on the red carpet, but she pulled out all the stops on this occasion wearing a Christian Dior gown.

Her pink silk gown with silver embroidery is exquisite. It’s classic Stone.

I’m sure many of you will think she looks slightly disheveled because of her hair, but it been a windy night so we can forgive her on this occasion.

Do you think Sharon is back to her delightful Dior best?

The girls from “Sucker Punch” are in London to promote their new movie.

Abbie Cornish looked radiant on the red carpet despite our chilly weather in the capital tonight, wearing an Alberta Ferretti Spring 2011 dress.

Her flowing floral print maxi dress with white floral embroidered details was modified slightly from the runway to make this look her own.

The flutter sleeves were worn off-the-shoulder to reveal spaghetti straps, and a band was added around her waist to give the look less of a boho “I’m skipping in a meadow on a summer’s day” vibe.

The Australian actress wore her hair up in an updo with a few pieces framing her face, with Cartier jewels and a platinum clutch completing her look.

Abbie has been flawless promoting this movie, and this has been my favourite look so far.

Katherine Jenkins opted out of wearing a gown when she attended the Gorby 80 Gala At The Royal Albert Hall in London tonight.

The Welsh singer wore a Victoria Beckham panel stretch jersey dress from the Spring 2011 collection.

Her blush halter neck fitted dress with signature zip in rose gold hugs her curves beautifully. It fits her like a glove.

Katherine is a huge fan of Victoria Beckham’s dress collection owning several pieces. She even has the same dress in 2 colours.

She follows in her favourite designers footsteps by pairing her dress with YSL Trib Two slingbacks.

Zoe Kravitz arrived at the ‘Runway to Green’ event which was held at Christie’s Auction House in New York City last night with designer Alexander Wang.

No surprises that she’s wearing the designer from head-to-toe in black.

She wore an Alexander Wang leather blazer over a black top and asymmetrical black skirt.

I love her heels with a mini cape/flap which were recently showcased during the Fall 2011 presentation.

Unlike Nicki Minaj, Zoe oozes that downtown chick cool vibe which is a prerequisite to owning an Alexander Wang look.

I’m glad she’s over her boho phase.
