Milla Jovovich and Melanie Chisholm opted for very different looks on the red carpet when they arrived at the Gorby 80 Gala At The Royal Albert Hall in London last night.
Milla wore a Valentino Red black lace and nude sleeveless dress with rosette detailing, polka dots and nude lining.
This dress is way too busy for my liking.
Even someone as confident as Milla struggles to make me love this look, and she is working it.
Two tone peep toes and a black clutch completed her look.
Mel C opted for a much simpler look.
The former Spice Girl wore a black YSL plunging jumpsuit from the Spring 2011 collection.
It’s a great choice for her style-wise, but I wish she’s gone down a size (or two) because the jumpsuit looks too big for her and it’s just a tad too long.

I wish Melanie Chisjolm would go for something different – you’ve featured her in 3 looks and all 3 have been long and black.
I know…the strange thing is she has a great body.
For some reason I LOVE the dress on Milla… this coming from someone who is usually turned off by too many busy patterns (Olivia Palermo I’m looking at you). She’s working it, and it works!
Yeah, she makes it work.
And … this is how you ruin a YSL.
I completely agree on all counts, Milla’s dress is too busy and Mel’s jumpsuit is way too big.
I like the dress on Milla. The other look is blah.
I love this look from Milla. She looks great!
I can see Milla’s right nipple and that’s my biggest problem with it.
I feel like the waist is in the wrong place on Milla and that’s my problem with her outfit…..
I don’t like Milla’s dress, either on her or the model, but I love those two-tone shoes. Mel C looks good but not outstanding.
The dress could have been a little longer, but I really like it on Milla.
The jumpsuit could have been a little more tailored to fit Melanie. I also think that she could have worn a colored shoe.
