The sun is finally out in London which means all my pumps and boots are now in their boxes on top of my wardrobe and my tights have been burned, so I’ll be peeping my toes and going bared legged until about mid-October.
With this is mind I found it really sad to see Emmy Rossum wearing such a colourful summery dress with tights and suede pumps – indoors.
The actress was in New York City yesterday announcing the “Suave Challenge” wearing a D&G Spring 2011 dress.
It’s such a shame that a beautiful light floral dress has been laden with tights, a black blazer and Rene Caovilla maroon suede pumps with a marble heel..

i could have really liked the suede pumps if she had ditched the tights and jacket. her stylist picked up on the maroon in the dress, which i thought was a nice move and nicely complimenting
Such a shame, a pretty summer dress worn like this…..
She has looked so gorgeous and daring and not boring recently so this is a real shame. I am nto going to get on at her for wearing tights, I don’t know how you do it, especially the pumps, FC, I am still wearing tights, albeit lycra now, thankgod, and definitely pumps. At least the sun is out!

Oh no! No, no. You do not mix suede, black jackets, and floral prints! And tights? She looks like a fashionably challenged college girl. Where is her stylist?
I love the dress. But if it were really snowing, she should have worn another dress.
This dress is screaming for bare arms, bare legs, and a strappy (or not) sandal.
