Abbie Cornish wore a vibrant hue on the red carpet for the LA Premiere of her new movie, “Sucker Punch” which was held at The Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood last night.
The Australian actress wore an Amanda Wakeley Spring 2011 gown in electric blue – my favourite red carpet colour.
Her gown has a criss-cross detail on the bodice plus divine draped details from the hips.
It may not have a thigh-high split or bedazzle like her younger co-stars, but she looks very beautiful and elegant.
She completed her look with sapphire drop earrings and a gold envelope clutch.

I think her accessories really bring this look alive- on the runway that bib necklace and the cuffs are just distracting
This is no BDOTW but she looks lovely and perfect.
i think she looks stunning and the dress fits her beautiful, but i also believe it’s a bit too old for her. She is still in her 20s, so i wish she would have more fun with it. Because it’s so elegant and simple it also feels she is overdressed for the event….
Whilst she looks lovely etc. I think it makes her look older. For some reason the neckline bothers me – I prefer how it looks on the runway due to the statement jewellery.
I think her shape is too athletic for this dress–she has not hips, no waist, not bust–there’s nothing to fill this dress out
I don’t know maybe its the fabric because Jil Sander does this colour exceptionally well. Amanda Wakely makes it look garish.
To me the bodice looks like bad Alaia
I think she looks lovely.
I love the color of her dress, and I like how she is wearing it a retro vibe with her hair, so for me she can be a BDOTW contender!
She kind of bores me. But she does look like a combination of young Nicole Kidman and Charlize Theron, doesn’t she?
This is a bit boring and safe for her. I agree that it ages her. Nice color on but could have gone for a more interesting style of dress, especially promoting this type of movie.
Beautiful color and a nice respite from the thigh-high split, but somehow it does age her.
I really like this. I don’t love it like I did Jena, but she looks pretty from head to toe.
