We haven’t seen much of Sarah Jessica Parker lately. She didn’t even turn out for the Halston Fall 2011 presentation during New York Fashion Week.
Earlier today she was spotted out in New York City walking her son James to school.
She wore a rich purple belted Halston Heritage Fall 2011 hooded coat which is so very vibrant on a mild day in the city.
SJP’s coat has been modified slightly, as her coat doesn’t have the lace trimming the edges.
Black patent ballet pumps and dark sunglasses completed her yummy mummy school run look.
It’s amazing how a pop of colour can brighten up the day.

The one the model is wearing looks too much like a bathrobe but I love the one SPJ is wearing.
I think that they both look like bathrobes. Maybe the fabric should have been heavier.

awww… her shoes are like my mommy’s go to pumps from when I was a little girl. I bought a mary jane with a similar toe shape out of nostalgia for them, but my strap is straight across and SJP’s and my mother’s are diagonal.

It sounds silly to say, but I love the lemony yellow of her son’s coat next to that deep plush purple of the Halston coat….sweet!
