Kate Beckinsale was the first to wear this Nina Ricci pale pink cloqué dress with a ribbon waist and ruffled hem last September at the LA screening of “Nowhere Boy.”
This sugary sweet dress is very much something we would expect to see on Kate.
She teamed her dress with pink peep-toes and a bronze clutch.
Amanda Peet rocked same dress in white when she attended the Independent Spirit Awards last month.
The actress added sheer black polka dot tights and Mary Jane peep-toes to her look.
I adore the pink version of this dress and I much prefer Kate’s matchy styling so she wins for me.

Kate, easily. I don’t like white dresses with black tights or shoes.
30 sep 2010 it’s better ..
Oh Amanda’s look is just wrong on so many levels. First of all, she can’t do sugary sweet like Kate can, secondly she had to ruin the dress with those sheer tights and ugly heels. Her pose is also super awkward. Kate looks effortlessly chic and cute, perfect.
I knew Kate was the winner without seeing the pic
if im not mistaken Kim Kardashian wore the same dress too ..
i would like to know what your thoughts of the dress on Kim is
love your blog!
xx
who is that girl in the picture with kate? lovely!
I chose Kate, for the obvious reasons. I do howeer have to comment on the gorgeous girl she is standing next to and her atrocious shoes. Their present almost made me chose Amanda.
There is no question. Kate Beckinsale. I have never understood Amanda Peet’s style. She tends to make things frumpy. Granny chic I suppose. Kate is elegant chic. Elegance always wins.
