Following a short stay in Paris, Jennifer Hudson performed at the 2011 Nickelodeon Upfront Presentation last week in New York City.
The singer looked outstanding wearing a Chloé Whipstitch leather dress from the Resort 2011 collection.
Another Jennifer has also worn this dress – Jennifer Lopez – and she looked equally beautiful.
Gold jewels and mauve Fendi ankle strap heels completed her look.
I love how this mini dress makes Jennifer legs so long and lean. It’s a great cut and colour for her.
I’m loving her whole look at the moment. Not just because of her new svelte body, but also her hair, make-up and dress choices.

Not a fan of this dress on her. Nice color for her but not the cut, and a bit too short for her ’cause even with the super high heels elongating her legs, the lengh of the dress is still a bit unflattering in the thigh area. And the shoes matching the lipstick, I suppose (sort of ??).
Also, find her hair a bit overwhelming.
LOVE this look on her. it’s nice to see her go youthful every once in a while, because despite all she’s been through in her life she is still quite young.

I miss her curvalicous. Her losing the weight to me was a statement that it is not okay to be curvy. That you have to be a size 6 or whatever Jennifer Hudson is now. But she looks great here. I never would have chosen this look for her, but she is gorgeous.

Wow, she looks outstanding! Whoever is dressing her is doing a great job of choosing strong, simple shapes that show off her figure without looking desperate or resorting to boring bandage dresses.
I like everything from the neckdown. I have not liked her hair in a very long time. It’s just too long and too fake for my taste.
This dress is understated, but sexy. And great job to Jennifer for wearing the dress – and owning it! – as opposed to letting it wear her. Great color, too.
I remember Jennifer on American Idol years ago, proudly wearing a strange hot pink suit that a friend had created for her. She was so proud of it, and so puzzled when Simon criticized it. Bet he’s not criticizing any more! She looks wonderful and I think BDOTW worthy.
She looks beautiful. The hair, shoes and dress are all amazing. The makeup is even amazing and I can hardly see it!
