Back in early February I posted pictures of the Atelier Versace Spring 2011 collection.
Unfortunately the pictures were not officially released so out of respect for the design house I took them down.
Now that they are officially release we can see that many of the looks have already been worn.
Jessica Alba got first dibs wearing a stunning cobalt blue Atelier Versace Spring 2011 strapless gown to the BAFTA Awards.
At the Vanity Fair Oscar parties Anne Hathaway, Charlize Theron and Jessica Biel all wore looks from the same collection.
I’m still in lust for Jessica Biel’s silk tulle gown embroidered gown.

My wishlist for this collection remains the same January Jones, Leighton Meester, Hilary Swank, Blake Lively, Beyonce Knowles, Angelina Jolie and Penelope Cruz.

It is such a gorgeous collection, but still pales in comparison to past collections for me an dI think some of the looks look cheaper than what they are. The pieces that have already been worn are by far amongst my favourtie so I am glad. I also think that Charlize Theron and Jessica Biel were the only two that really wore them well, the former in particular.

Charlize and Jessica both look stunning, but looking at this collection once again, I’m not blown away (as i often am) by this, it seems a little weak…
I agree, I’ve always been in love with Atelier Versace; now I like this collection but I’m not blown away as I should be! Then… is it me or the 12th dress is similar to the Givenchy couture worn by Zoe Saldana during the Oscars last year? Versace should be a guide, not a follower..

Wow…every piece is stunning! So beautiful…I really hope we see more pieces on the red carpet…I could definitely see Katy Perry in the pink (barbie-esque) strapless gown – she’d pull it off perfectly.
A stunningly beautiful collection. All are very form-fitting and give a wonderful silhouette. What is really amazing is that they look better off the runway on a variety of women than on the models.
I am in love with the teal/turquoise sparkly dress with the open back and chiffon sleeves/detailing. I hope to see it on the red carpet.
