Abbie Cornish attended the premiere of her new movie, “Limitless” earlier this week in New York City.
She opted to wear a Lanvin black crushed ramie blend dress from the Spring 2011 collection.
The neckline of her commercial version of this dress doesn’t plunge as deeply as the models.
You may remember that Gwyneth Paltrow wore this same dress when she performed at the CMA Awards, but hers had the deeper plunging neckline.
Abbie added Stuart Weitzman black satin ‘Femina’ peep toe pumps, a black VBH clutch and Broken English gold jewelry to her look.
Between the modified neckline and Julie Andrews hairstyle I’m not excited about this look at all.

Abbie chose the commercial version because her style isn’t sexy like the runway’s. She looks confident though!
This look is boring.
The dress looks good on her, don’t really mind the modified neckline. It’s the “Julie Andrews hairstyle ” (ha ha) that bothers me.
Black dress, black shoes, black nails, black clutch. Too much black. Needed to break it up a bit. The hair is off as well. Not the best look.
I’m not crazy about the length, but I do appreciate her restraint with the plunge. More suited to a dinner party than a premiere though.
Again, not a fan of all black looks. She would have looked even better with some more interesting shoes.
I like that the dress doesn’t have the plunging neckline.
This look combined with the hairstyle is far too mature and ages her. She should be having fun with fashion.
