Leighton Meester shakes things up on the cover of L’Officiel Lithuania March 2011.
It’s not often we celebrities wearing a mix of runway looks, but here we see Leighton wearing a Lanvin Spring 2011 neon pink top with an emerald green Jil Sander Spring 2011 skirt.
Her hair is slicked back hair and pink stilettos peaking out of the bottom.
The rest of Leighton’s editorial sees her wearing MaxMara, YSL, Gucci and Fendi.
What I love most about this editorial is that L’Officiel Lithuania have given Leighton a grown up sophisticated wardrobe.
Usually most editiorials have a ‘Blair-esqe’ Teen Vogue quality about them, or downtown New Yorker vibe, but this shoot is in total contrast to those stereotypical editorials she’s done in the past.
In this editorial I see her as a strong confident woman and I definitely don’t see a hint of Blair Waldorf. For me this is her best ever shoot.

Oh I adore it! I adore foreign magazines because I think they give the least commercial shoots, especially for celebrities. This seems all about fashion and leighton in the fashion. I think this shoot far better reflects Leighton’s style to those other teen vogue esque photo shoots you talk about. I have been dying for her to wear this season gucci so I am glad they put her in it.

She looks wonderful. Like you said, she doesn’t look like Blair. But she also doesn’t look like she got dressed and did her makeup in the dark. So, yay!
I love it, Leighton looks great, very sophisticated. I also like the fact that the cover is a long-shot most of the time with celebs it’s a close-up, so it’s a nice change.

Aaahhhh this shoot is EVERYTHING. She looks very chic, the styling is on point, those eyebrows are fierce and I like the clean lines of the clothes and the colours. She looks like some Italian model. It’s so fashion. Love it.

these are some outstandng choices of clothing! I am no fan of colors and hate orange in particular, but these are amazing! can’t get over first look with green skirt, will be hunting that one down! and definitely reconsider my relationship with bright pink tank tops:)
I am not a Leighton fan even though she doesn’t bore me on the red carpet.
However, I love these looks. Maybe she should hire the stylist of this shoot as her personal stylist. This is how she should be dressing.

I love these looks. She’s more versatile than I thought.
I love these photos. I always think Leighton has a stronger and more expressive face than Blake, but a lot of Leighton’s red carpet photos don’t work for me because she doesn’t know how to pose and her bowl legs hurt the visual (I know I’d get hate mails for this comment, but the $300 billion fashion business is not about inner beauty). But here you see Leighton’s best features and the images are beautiful.
gosh, she’s so versatile – she looks so elegant here, but she also looks great as prissy Blair and in her quirky RC style.
