Now that Awards Season is over I would like you to pick your favourite looks from the main stars at each event.
We’ll start off with the adorable Hailee Steinfeld who received nominations for her role in “True Grit.”
Her Awards Season run was perfection. She has to be my favourite red carpet newcomer of all time.
She showed young girls everywhere that you don’t have to wear a crop top or pout like a porn star *coughsMileycoughs* to be noticed. Class always outshines trash.
My favourite look was between her Marchesa Oscar dress and the Prada dress. I picked the Prada dress in the end because it was an unexpected look which she pulled off so perfectly.
I hope we get to see more of this 14 year old on the red carpet. I love how she’s grown in such a short space of time and I hope to see that continue.

Easily the Prada. So bold, vibrant, and fun. One of the best dressed at the SAG Awards. The Oscar dress was nice, but my heart is with the Prada.
I feel exactly the same – I’ll take a colorful, chic dress over a princessy Marchesa every time.
WAY TOO HARD!!! She looks amazing in every thing….yes, some young actresses (who shall be nameless) sould sit up and take note from her.
I went with the Marchesa…but that Prada was so unique and gorgeous!
Some older stars should sit up and take note IMO. It’s not ust the young ones these days, though it is mostly the youths (ahemTaylormomsenmileycyrus).
This was SO difficult! I adore this girl and she was my favourite of this awards season, she was always gorgeous, always classy and age appropriate as you say, never desperate or attention seeking, always chic and we never really knew wat to expect. I love every look we have seen from her, including the non-awards ones, lik ehte oscars luncheon dress and te miumiu swan dress. I went with the prabal gurung because it was one look that has really, really stayed with me this awards season and is a bit of an iconic moment for me.
I have to say she was also endearing and well spoken, as well as having given a very good performance in ‘True Grit’. She really is a vision of beauty, class and dignity.
The first Marchesa look is cutest and adorable.
…..and that’s what I call age-appropriate as opposed to her ‘cute and adorable but way -too- young- for- me baby-ballerina’ look at the Oscars.
The Prabal Gurung one (Golden Globe) – perfection in my book. As for her Oscar look, I know everyone has been praising it, yes it’s cute and adorable, etc. but age-appropriate? – hardly – with the princessy skirt and hairband esp., it’s more suitable for a 10-11 year-old top. OK, maybe 12
Absolutely adorable, I love every look! My vote goes to the Oscar look, she saved the best for last!
Hard to chose between the top three photos – loved her Prabal Gurung but adored her Prada a bit more. She really held up well under our intense fashion scrutiny didn’t she? Love her!
“class always outshines trash” haha I love it. Soo true
She looked amazing in everything, and I have to give her credit for showing us such a range of looks, as well. In the end, my favorite was her Golden Globes look because I thought it was perfection, and it was compared ever subsequent look against.
Its so nice seeing a young girl in hollywood who isnt into the who sexy thing. She reminds me of a younger Taylor Swift with some Audrey Hepburn mixed in there. Always age apropriate and pretty!
It’s between Prabal Gurung and Prada for me with the first edging out the second just because I loved the high ponytail. I read somewhere that her stylist added straps to the Prada because she didn’t think strapless was appropriate for a 14 year old. Little decisions like that are what made her overall look such a success. Good job!
Prada for sure. She made that Red Carpet interesting.
Marchesa. I thought she looked downright precious.
if there’s a choice of marchesa I just can’t resist
I love that striped Prada dress…and want it for myself!
I love Hailee but the only thing Miley really does it pout and maybe show her bra a little with dresses. I don’t believe she has ever worn a crop top or anything *too* risque and even going through everything tagged “Miley Cyrus” her fashion choices are actually okay.
I think it should read *coughTaylorMomsencough* because Miley is actually trying to dress nicer while Taylor keeps sliding further down.
I would have loved the Prada, but her hair didn’t have its proudest moment there. I voted for the oscar look. Her Golden globes look was a close second.
You couldn’t have started with an easier poll?!
This is way too hard!!
I first tried to see which one she looked more comfortable in, but that didn’t work, she looks good in all of them. Then I felt that the Marchesa slightly washes her out so that ruled it out.
In the end I’m going for the Prada dress. It’s vibrant, unusual choice for an award show and it makes her look 6 ft tall!!
I voted for the Prade cause of the colour, but my actual favourite is when she paired the Marchesa with red Converse sneakers for the after party – it looked amazing!
I still can’t believe they put her in the supporting actress category. She was the leading actress in “True Grit” -_-
Anyway, I went with the Marchesa Oscar dress. It was perfection to me. And it didn’t feel too princessy to me because of her age and because we’ve seen her do funkier (in Prada) so we know she’s not stuck on cutesy mode.
sometimes they do that to give the person a better chance of winning.
A perfect example of this was Jennifer Hudson. She was never the Supporting actress in DreamGirls, she was clearly the lead actress, but because she was never going to beat Helen Mirren in The Queen.
It’s all very tactical
i think i loved the most her swan dress in Berlin:)
the golden globes gown got my vote, she looks so elegant, polished and confident.
I love this girl!
And I love all the looks too!
My faves were the 2 marchesa looks but going with the Oscars princess dress!
This was so hard! I loved all her looks! All her looks are classy and edgy. She doesn’t try to hard and she has fun with it too. I went with Marchesa (Oscars) But my other two favorites were the Prada and Gurung. FC, can’t we have two winners?! LOL
Her Oscars dress.
She’s so lucky to not only have worn a beautiful Marchesa dress, but to attend the Oscars.
Lucky girl…
I love all the looks except Miu Miu, which aged her. I was torn between Prada and Marchesa @ Oscars, too. But I voted for Prada because it has a more exciting print, it looks less princess-y, and it looks more like a formal version of a Marc by Marc Jacobs dress. I like all things Marc Jacobs.
