Amanda Seyfried was in New York City yesterday for a guest appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman.
She was on the show to promote her upcoming movie, “Red Riding Hood.”
Her scallop-edged sexy Versace LBD from the Spring 2011 collection was paired with Jimmy Choo ‘Nina’ sandals.
The knee length black cocktail dress is covered with eyelet details which we saw on 2 dresses from the Spring 2011 collection.
Kohl-rimmed eyes and glossy locks completed her look.

When I first saw this I was like ‘she is wearing black net.’ This look is meh. It is just a tight black bodycon dress. Nothing special. I would have liked it more if she wore red or blue version. Then it would look better.
Ddontella wore the beige version of this better (IMO). The details of the dress on Amanada seem quite different from the runway, it looks rather plain – yes, she’s gorgeous, but the dress is nothing special.
I prefer either one of the runway versions better than the way Amanda wore it.
What an awful watering-down of the runway original. I mean, I can see lining the transparent bits to make it wearable, but at least keep the neckline! Disappointing.

I really wish she had worn teh beige runway version, with the runway heels. I think it would ahve been much more interesting, especially for her.
Or even if she’d worn the beige style in black, in case the nude washed her out! This body con tank style dress is incredibly dated.

I love this! Wow, she has an incredible body. She carries off everything with such grace and class, and I feel like she sparkles in this dress, although it is simple.
I prefer the style of the dress on the runway. She made it boring by wearing it the way she did.

The runway versions are far superior. It just looks like something that you would buy off of the rack at Macy’s.
