Rosario Dawson was one of the few to opt for a stand out colour on the red carpet at the 2011 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in West Hollywood on Sunday night.
She wore a fresh-off-the-runway Diane von Furstenberg Fall 2011 dress.
The shimmering blue wrap dress has a revealing thigh-high split.
I wish this dress didn’t have the split so I wouldn’t have to see those darn Brian Atwood ‘Harrison’ pumps again.
She wore them to the 2011 Independent Spirit Awards and I’m pretty sure she’s worn them several times before.
Sexy strappy sandals would have been perfect for this look.
Pumps are a baffling choice.
Cartier jewels completed her look.

Silver strappy sandals would have been perfect. But ignoring the shoes, she looks great. The dress is fab.
Great color–something’s weird around the hem on her right side. She is a little swamped in this dress, but I bet it was comfortable!
I think this color is so wrong for her, it seems to be swallowing her.
Maybe if it had been a much darker or much lighter shade, but along with the shimmering fabric –
It looks like an expensive bathrobe.
This is definitely not a good pose.
So so. Wrong shoes, pumps for the Oscars? I agree with Rebecca bout the hem, it seems basted, very ugly effect. A statement bracelet would have been a good idea.
Silver strappies couldnt have saved this look anyways. It looks like a tent and I really dont like her facial expression in this pic
Not a good pose and wrong shoes. But I like the colour.
she looks good but the shoes are a bad choice BUT thank god they arent black.
I like the colour on her so much that I can overlook the shiny disco bathrobe elements, and the dull heels. It certainly could have been better, though.
I really like this after a sea of “uniform” looks on the red carpet. It shows originality. I LOVE the colour on her and I can get past the shoes. This look is very, very refreshing.
I wish she had worn the Gucci Kelis sandal with this this dress.. she would have been a 10 on 10
Id change the shoes and change the HAIR!
