Naomi Watts opted for black at the 2011 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday night.
She wore a Zac Posen Spring 2011 pin-tuck gown with feather details flowing from the train.
The dress also has a sheer diamond-shaped panel shows off her midriff.
A diamond bangle and a Ferragamo gold metal minaudière with black leather details completed her look.
It’s usual for Naomi to work so much detail into one look. I’m still on the fence as to whether she pulled it off.
I think I’d like to see this dress on someone much taller.

I don’t think she pulls it off. Naomi isn’t one to pull off something daring or complicated.
I don’t like the feathers on this dress. Reminds me of the chicken hat.
the model looks fierce and the dress looks sexy, but on naomi it falls flat.
The model looks stunning but it’s not working on Naomi at all. You have to be tall to pull it off, I agree. Also, the wrong hairdo (considering the feather details on the dress) in my opinion, it should’ve been all pulled back into a neat updo.

I don’t like this dress on Naomi, for it screams Blake Lively, but not Naomi. I didn’t see this decoption coming, she use to be perfect in major events.
Naomi just gets more and more beautiful as she gets older, but this dress is a poor choice.
Although I agree someone taller would ahve helped, I thinkshe definitely had the potential to pull this off, with slicker pulled back hair and not being hunched voer a la mentrual pain, shoulders back, a darker, more dramatic eye and much more attitude.
The dress is all kinds of ugly. I really dislike the feathers at the back.
I don’t like the dress, and I particularly don’t like it on Naomi, who’s too short and not working it at all. She’s so fair that her face just fades out near all those feathers and details.
to me, the dress says “illusion crotch,” so no, I don’t think she or anyone can pull it off.
To me, this dress says “my butt is on the front”, both on the model and on Naomi. I agree, no one should ever wear this dress.
