Best Dressed Award
When Cate Blanchett stepped on the red carpet at the 2011 Oscars tonight the competition for Best Dressed ended.

This is why I love Cate Blanchett; she glided down the red carpet wearing Givenchy Spring 2011 Couture gown looking sensational.

No one has even come close to matching this type of perfection tonight.

Her pleated lilac chiffon gown is embroidered with pearls details. I love the yellow as a contrasting colour.

Cate’s super short boyish crop has grown out. I much prefer this length as it’s more feminine.

Van Cleef & Arpels jewels completed her look.

If I was an actress on this red carpet I would grab my coat and go home.

Only Miss Hathaway Can Pull This Off Award
Anne Hathaway opted for an old Hollywood look at the 2011 Oscars tonight.

She does this type of look so well.

I loved seeing her work this Valentino Fall 2002 Couture gown on the red carpet.

She swished the train several time to create the perfect Kodak moment.

On some this red taffeta gown with train and floral appliqué would’ve overwhelmed the wearer, but Anne is a pro when it comes to working the red carpet and it showed tonight.

She was as graceful as ever.

One down, many more to come.

2011 Oscars

Elie Saab Magic Award
Mila Kunis was a vision of perfection on the red carpet tonight at the 2011 Oscars.

This is the second time she’s worn Elie Saab and totally blown me away.

Her delicate Elie Saab Spring 2011 Couture gown is breath-taking.

The lavender chiffon gown with tiered lace detailing and groisgrain ribbon waist was teamed with silver jewels and a gorgeous smile.

Self Design/Best Dressed Teen Award
Hailee Steinfeld couldn’t look more prefect if she tried tonight at the 2011 Oscars.

She made her dreams dress come true by sketching this dress which was later created by Marchesa.

The pale ballet pink crystal embroidered tulle tea length dress was paired with champagne coloured Ferragamo peep-toes and a silver Ferragamo clutch.

Hailee looks adorable and age appropriate like she has all awards season.

Drop Dead Gorgeous Award
WOW….what a perfect way to kick of the 2011 Oscars tonight.

Jennifer Lawrence was the first to hit the red carpet wearing a custom-made Calvin Klein gown.

Her first-time nominated actress has set the bar really high.

I hope this is a sign of good things to come.

Everything about this look is simple and beautiful.

The hot red carpet lets us know she want to stand out, but her subtle accessories lets us know she’s not trying too hard.

Jimmy Choo ‘New Lancer’ platform sandals, a Judith Leiber clutch and Chopard jewels completed her look.
