Best Lady Who Wore Red Award
Sandra Bullock looked sensational at the 2011 Oscars last night.
The mother of one wore a Vera Wang custom gown.
She was on trend wearing the colour of the night – red – but her silk faille mermaid gown with double bustier and origami bow at back stood out more than the others.
I love how she wasn’t afraid to add red lippie and a red croc leather clutch to this look.
She accessorized with Jimmy Choo’s ‘Vita’ platform heels and Harry Winston jewels.
The classical glamorous look was completed with a chic updo.

For me Sandra was the Best dressed lady of the night,
Her Vera dress, hair and make up are perfect I think.
Simply Beautiful.
LOVE it. Much prefer this to her Marchesa gown last year which I wasnt fond of. Also I think between the battle of her and Anne in the red gown she wins hands down.
Its such a nice refreshing look from her.
She looks BEAUTIFUL. I am in love. Another ‘take that Jesse!’ look.
I agree.
She is so graceful and I think I prefer this look over the last year’s one.
Not crazy over this look. Don’t like dresses that have tops that don’t fit properly. So many actresses wear structured tops that have a life of their own. When the actresses move, their boobs do but the dress does not, and you can see down their top… Don’t care for hair either.
Perfection–best dressed on the red carpet.
definitely one of the best
everything in this look work easyly
love the hair
simply Gorgeous!
its nice the colour the beautiful on her, shame about the hair.
I loved loved loved this, but I have to say I also loved how much I loved the description of Sandra as a ‘Mother of one’. There is so much focus on all the crap that went down in her person life last year, I think she would love that she’s being described here as the thing that seems so important to her now – her son.
I’m speechless and in love !
Love it! The updo is a huge improvement from her big bangs at the Globes. And finally … Vera Wang is back on an A-lister on the red carpet! Sandra looked elegant and beautiful. And she was funny on TV last night as usual.
Definitely on the best dressed list. She looks gorgeous.
She looks beautiful and elegant. It is great that she chose something very different from last year’s Oscar dress but looks just as terrific in very different styles.
Sandra was one of the best dressed ladies! This Vera Wang dress is beautiful on her!
Such a stunning look, perfectly styled.
The mermaid shape of the dress feels a bit dated, but she does look great in it.
For someone who seems so much more comfortable when she’s dressed-down and can maintain her privacy, I admire Sandra for always working it at these big events.
Stunning. Beautiful. Flawless.
Kicking yourself, yet, Jesse. You could have had all of this, yet you chose a tattoo artist with questionable taste.
Origami bow… or butt pouch?
Sandra’s red carpet style just keeps getting better after her split with Jessie James.
I hope he sees what he’s missing.
