Too Much Bling Award
Jennifer Hudson looked gorgeous on the red carpet at the 2011 Oscars tonight.
She just gets better and better.
The actress/singer opted for a tangerine Atelier Versace Spring 2008 gown.
Her plunging halter gown had a dramatic structured detail on the hip and a dramatic train which glided behind her as she worked the red carpet.
I think she overloaded her look with too many jewels, but other than that this is a great look for her.
Purple Versace platform heels completed the look.

dress and color look great on her, but I find the showing of her chest distracting and not a great view. love the color on her the most.
I agree with you about the jewels. And one more thing. I wish the neckline was a v-neck and not so square. The color is beautiful on her. And her body is as slamming as always. She looks gorgeous. Versace and her are a great match.
The hair was too stiff and the jewels were too many but I love the dress.

when I first saw Jennifer Hudson a few hours ago I just said “WOW!”. I think this might be the best she has ever looked!!! I was so taken with the dress that I didn’t notice the jewels, but I totally agree FC!
She looks great in this dress. I think the jewels are fine for this event, and she has the stature to carry it off something dramatic.
The dress & color looks good on her. The fit at the bust isn’t the best though.

Everything would be better, compared to that monstrous thing she was forced to wear by one of the supposed most capable men of the fashion business.
The gown in beautiful and she has been brave enough to opt for a striking colour. I really like the structuring and the way the fabric falls to the ground. That is what makes the ill-fitting, halter neckline all the stranger. It is unflattering and unfortunately draws your eyes to this area.
the fact that shes showing some parts of her breasts and those parts are a lighter skin color makes her look really tacky.
I don’t like this dress at all. Not sure if it is the bust area or hair and make up but i’m not feeling.
I think Her boobs are ugly in this dress. I don’t like it at all. For me She is/was the worst dressed of the Oscars 2011.
I agree with the general consensus about her poor breasts, which look dreadfully squished. I love the colour on her, but I think there’s too much of it in that fabric.

The gown is stunning. The color is pretty, but I can’t get over the fit.
The only thing I don’t like, as everyone has already said, the twins are halter-awkward and she should have just had one blingy bracelet instead of two wrist-worths. But other than those two, I like this look on her.
The colour is fantastic, if only it wasn’t doing such awful things to her breasts! It’s hard not to stare once you’ve noticed which then cheapens the whole look.
the boobs have tan lines on them, and they are smooshed together. sometimes if ur boobs are a certain size, it is best to keep the under wraps than all exposed.

My eyes goes to her breast, she’s thin, now, why didn’t she hide it inside the dress like the model? The halter dress has been modified, but in the wrong way, there’s too much fabric on the side of her breast, while the “problem” is in the middle. There’re too bracelets. This gown isn’t particularly beautiful, too me, let it stay in 2008.
I don’t really like this look now that I see it still, but it translated so beautiful on the screen last nigh. She was litterally glowing and I think it has a lot to do with her smile and personality
I like everything about this look – the colour, the cut, the make up… but she just doesn’t have the breasts for a plunging neckline.

I love the gown, I love the color, but her breasts are too distracting. Was it really necessary to have the ladies out front like that? They ruined this dress for me. (She does look fabulous, though!)
i’m amazed by all the criticism. on tv, she looked stunning and was one of my favorite of the night. i’m not a huge fan of the hair but am not bothered by the bling or the boobs at all. seriously – the color, the drama, and the fit all worked for me. where’s the love???
Can not comment on her hair, makeup or jewels because all I can see are the tits. Sorry, but she looks seriously “playboy playmate” here.
