Heidi Klum In Julien Macdonald – Elton John AIDS Foundation’s Oscar Viewing Party

Heidi Klum attended Elton John’s AIDS Foundation’s Oscar Viewing Party in West Hollywood with hubby Seal last night.

Heidi looked futuristic wearing Julien Macdonald Fall 2009 gown.

I love everything about her shiny metallic mirrored gown with a thigh-high split and ombre skirt.

I’m glad she opted not to tone down her accessories. They were just as bold and sparkly as her gown.

Christian Louboutin ‘Daffodile Strass’ pumps, Lorraine Schwartz jewels and a silver Judith Leiber clutch complete her look.

Heidi was one of my favourites from the party.

    I don’t like this.

This is one crazy, over-the-top, way-too-many-details dress, but I really like it as well.
    Hair and make-up are great.

      lol agree!

WOW! This blows away anything we saw at the Oscars proper (well may gently breeze-on Kate and Amy).

BDOTW easily for me…oh err it’s only Monday though.

Thanks, FC for the coverage as always!

What do you think of Madonna’s Francesco Scognamiglio? I can’t pick out Lourdes’ dress, could you FC?

    • Fashion Critic February 28, 2011 at 20:33 #

So not interested in Madonna…she will always look a mess to me

      • artemis February 28, 2011 at 23:01 #

        haha agreed!!

      lourdes dress was all saints.

      • Dorian Gray February 28, 2011 at 21:01 #

I agree with you, this was not her best look.
        Thanks robbie!

Too much shine for me. Kind of looks like a disco ball.

    • PamG February 28, 2011 at 21:06 #

      Overdone!

Fantastic dress, and she pulls it off well, but the shoes and make up aren’t the best. Sandals might have been better, and she’s gone for that matchy JLo eye shadow. Still, she looks great and I love how she always has a huge smile on the red carpet!

that dress is by far the most hideous, cheap, tacky and terrible dress.

  9. Marvel February 28, 2011 at 21:04 #

A kinda tacky dress but in a good way. Does that make sense?

  10. Sarah NZ February 28, 2011 at 21:25 #

Beautiful dress ruined by horrific shoes.

Like a disco phoenix rising from the ashes of a smashed disco ball on the dancefloor of Studio54.

      LOL

Wow now this is how you do glamour!

  13. KateS March 1, 2011 at 00:13 #

This is hilariously Heidi, but also kind of J-Lo lite. I know I shouldn’t, but I kind of like the dress. The barbie heels are all kinds of wrong.

I am never one to shy away from shiny or metallic. Heck, I wore a pair of sequined shoes at my job as a teacher.
But this is just too much for me-slit, ombre, mirrors, pailletes, sequins, rhinestones, big earrings…

LOL….this comment killed me with laughter!

I must say i adore this look, but your comment was priceless.

I really love it from top to bottom

  17. Saara March 1, 2011 at 06:18 #

I kind of love it. Shoes could be switched though.

  18. Sharon March 1, 2011 at 17:24 #

Like a crow, I’m drawn to shiny objects and this look just has my inner bird crying “caw caw” all over the place. It’s more like a costume than a gown, but I’d love to have it for a New Year’s Eve party!

  19. Pati March 1, 2011 at 21:07 #

Fabulous! Heidi´s back to her best :o)

  20. Shaina March 2, 2011 at 03:56 #
