Heidi Klum attended Elton John’s AIDS Foundation’s Oscar Viewing Party in West Hollywood with hubby Seal last night.
Heidi looked futuristic wearing Julien Macdonald Fall 2009 gown.
I love everything about her shiny metallic mirrored gown with a thigh-high split and ombre skirt.
I’m glad she opted not to tone down her accessories. They were just as bold and sparkly as her gown.
Christian Louboutin ‘Daffodile Strass’ pumps, Lorraine Schwartz jewels and a silver Judith Leiber clutch complete her look.
Heidi was one of my favourites from the party.

Fantastic dress, and she pulls it off well, but the shoes and make up aren’t the best. Sandals might have been better, and she’s gone for that matchy JLo eye shadow. Still, she looks great and I love how she always has a huge smile on the red carpet!

This is hilariously Heidi, but also kind of J-Lo lite. I know I shouldn’t, but I kind of like the dress. The barbie heels are all kinds of wrong.
I am never one to shy away from shiny or metallic. Heck, I wore a pair of sequined shoes at my job as a teacher.
But this is just too much for me-slit, ombre, mirrors, pailletes, sequins, rhinestones, big earrings…

Like a crow, I’m drawn to shiny objects and this look just has my inner bird crying “caw caw” all over the place. It’s more like a costume than a gown, but I’d love to have it for a New Year’s Eve party!
