Emma Stone attended the 2011 Vanity Fair Oscar Party last night in West Hollywood, California.
Since landing her role in ‘Spiderman’ Emma has become quite the fashionista as she’s been wearing a lot of big name designers.
On this occasion she wore a colourful Chanel Fall 2009 Couture dress.
Her Chanel paillette and embroidered lace dress was worn with the train.
You may remember just after this collection was presented many stars wore their Chanel Fall 2009 Couture looks without a train.
Complementary purple satin Salvatore Ferragamo pumps and a Van Cleef & Arpels cocktail ring completed her edgy red carpet look.
It’s a risk which paid off.
It’s a shame I can’t say the same about the hair.

I like this dress on her, but I hate her as a blonde. Her red hair helped her land roles. Her red hair made her stand out and look cute. The blond washes out her face. I love her purple heels. They are perfect with the dress.
The hair isn’t right but I love the print and color.
I wish she’d left the train off. Looks like a mullet dress.
You know I actually like the hair. I feel like if she had done something else it just would’ve felt too over the top. But the make up looks really nice.
Wish she wore the dress without the train
I’m not feeling it at all.
I like the dress in theory, but the fit makes her look barrel-bodied. Hair back would have showed off the dress better, and I do miss her as a redhead as well!
I agree, not quite working, love the runway presentation though…..
Im in love with this new Emma but the hair needs to go.
OK dress but she cant be serious with that hair?!?
Shame on the hair, and I know its for the role for Spider Man, so I can’t wait until she’s back to her natural hair color. Or she could have styled her hair in much more calming manner.
love everything but the hair
I am so shocked and disappointed. I am so in love with Emma Stone that Ive been trying to grow a penis for ever since I discovered her. But this? This is going very Sharon Stone red carpet train smash. Hideous dress and hair :’(
I would have loved runway hair and a runway attitude. The clashing ring also irritates me a little bit.
I still hate the trains on this collection. Otherwise everything other than the hair is great. Love the shoes with this outfit.
The hair is a little ratty, but I love the dress. Well, except for the fish tail.
Thank goodness for no black pumps.
There’s something about the fit of the dress that I don’t like, she looks pregnant, maybe it’s the posture. Her hair is ugly, I mistake her for Goldie Hawn, she looks older with that blonde hair, red hair is so beautiful.
Just saying, blonde is her natural hair colour. She dyed it brown the red. I think she looks beautiful either way.
