L’Wren Scott Isn’t Just For Nicole Kidman Award
On Nicole Kidman’s Oscar post, some of you have said, “At least she’s not wearing L’Wren Scott”.
Well Amy Adams is going to make you eat your words because I think she looked outstanding on the red carpet at the 2011 Oscars tonight wearing a dress from L’Wren Scott’s recent Fall 2011 collection.
The purple caviar-bead embroidered dress was worn with emerald and silver Cartier jewels.
I think I prefer the darker coloured accessories as presented on the runway.
Salvatore Ferragamo black satin shoes and Hollywood waves completed her look.

Very classic glamourous look! She looks beautiful. I love the color of the dress on her complexion and think that the green jewels compliment the deep blue/purple of the dress nicely. Love the bracelet!

Purple? When I first saw it on style.com I swore it was blue. But who cares because Amy looks gorgeous. This would’ve looked good on Nicole, but it looks amazing on Amy. Significantly better than her SAG and Golden Globe looks.

She does look great. I mean, I do like L’Wren Scott. Her stuff is simple and gorgeous. But when you’re someone like Nicole Kidman who can pull off daring and fantastic, wearing simple and gorgeous all the time tends to get a bit boring, if that made any sense.

she would have been my best dressed of the night if it weren’t for the necklace. the necklace completely ruins this look for me. I felt this way about amy adams 2 years ago too. her red carolina herera dress was gorgeous but her plastic looking necklace ruined it.

I love everything about this look except the necklace, which is nonsense with this dress. I think she wore it only because at the Oscars you must wear jewelry. Even the most important and paid stylists do lots of mistake, as this one.
I didn’t think the cut suited her shape at all. She looks top heavy in the dress, which isn’t helped by the necklace.
I love it. I love the jewels (apparently 1.5 million worth!). I love Amy and this is a vast improvement from her Oscar look a couple of years ago. I also loved the slit from the back of the dress

If I had been one of those to have said that on Nicole kidman’s post I would bey no means be eating my words. Nicole may be changing, but I think it is obviosu that Amy adams brings the ‘za za zhou’ to this dress. On nicole I could expect a borign pose, boring hair, boring jewels. I really love how Amy Adams pulls out all the stops on every single dress, her use of sparkle is beyond. Shr is easily on eof the best dressed of the night, an dprobably in hollywood athe the moment.
