Elizabeth Banks In Versace – Tom Ford Beverly Hills Flagship Store Opening

Elizabeth Banks loves Versace.

The last time we saw her on the red carpet she wore Versace, and last night she wore yet another look from the Spring 2011 collection to Tom Ford’s Beverly Hills Flagship Store Opening in LA.

Her black cocktail dress with cut outs and patent leather details was modified from the runway as Elizabeth’s version doesn’t have the printed panel.

I really like the printed panel as it give the look a Versace stamp, but I also love her green heels.

The print and the heels wouldn’t have worked so well together, so I’ll take the modified look and heels over the print with black pumps.

Print or plain? How do you prefer this look?

I like both. I wouldn’t mind the dress getting a re-run with the runway version though. This is cute on her and no black pumps graced us. Her heels are adorable.

I do love the plain but it seems… I dunno…. boring compared to the print?

However I do agree…. heels over print. They are GORGEOUS!

I love this look. I think, like you said, it’s a give/take with the print/shoes so I’m fine with the modification of the dress. Am I the only one who would like to see this up for BDOTW?

Sometimes, stylists should have just leave well enough alone.
The green shoes and the print would have made me totally love this look.

I wish it had the insert so it looked less like Stars on Ice and more like a designer dress. And I dislike the shoes and the hair.

This dress is really cute, but the print makes it more interesting, so I would have kept the printed panel, also the shoes are nice but they’re not elegant while she chose a quite elegant purse, so I don’t like her accessories. She could do better.
