Kristin Davis was the belle of the ball at the 13th Annual Costumer Designers Guild Awards which was held in Beverly Hills last night.
She wore a princessy Oscar de la Renta Spring 2011 strapless gown.
The ivory silk tulle and black dot embroidered gown was accented with a black satin bow belt.
The Oscar de la Renta devotee picked the perfect dress for her.
I would’ve been dying over this look if she’s worn her hair back.
It’s minor, but I think it would’ve made the world of difference.
BDOTW worthy??

Oh I hate to say it – I think she’s too old for big polka dots. The dress is GORGEOUS and fun, but it just seems a little toooo princess.

lordy lordy, first Halle looking like a siren in Saab and now Kirsten looking dazzling in de la Renta. BDOTW is getting a lot more interesting now.
I do not think this is BDOTW worthy. Sure, she looks cute and she is an Oscar de la Renta darling, but I can’t get past the fact that this is just a polka dot black and white gown. Meh in my books. I would have loved red lippie and a red satin clutch for cutesyness.
I agree – with a gown this cutesy, she needed to go all-out with the styling. Chignon and red lips, at least.

I LOVE this look and oh my gosh I need that dress.

Hair needed to be back but it’s still a gorgeous dress. I’d feared people would shy away from the polka dots and not wear it. I’m happy Kristin went for it. She looks gorgeous. Should be in the BDOTW poll IMO.
