Carrie Underwood was the first to wear this stunning red Edition by Georges Chakra Fall 2010 gown last year to the 2010 American Country Awards.
The Country music singer wore her asymmetrical red chiffon gown with beaded cummerbund and beaded tulle bodice with Rene Caovilla gold heels, Coomi jewels and a gold Rene Caovilla sequin clutch.
Sarah ‘try way too’ Harding wore the same dress to be 2011 BAFTA Awards last week.
She totally ruins the look for me with the full on red lips, eye make-up, frizzy locks, red platform heels and black clutch.
There is nothing subtle about this look. It’s too ‘in ya face’ for my liking.
Class and sophistication wins over desperate to be noticed, so Carrie wins for me.

First off, both of their postures are distressing. Secondly, I want to make clear that I don’t not think pale people cannot wear this dress, look at gorgeous Tanya Dziahileva working it, but I really dislike this colour againt Sarah’s skintone, it really brings out the pinkness in it. The colour of her shoes is also clashing with the dress. Sarah’s hair and earrings are also too boho for thsi dress, and her makeup is too much for most occasions, like a premiere, an awards show, a drag show, the list truly does go on. LAstly, the final nail inthe coffin for Sarah was that she just makes the dress look cheap, it doesn;t fit the bust propely, aka is too low, the slit at the top in particular looks badly cut, the skirt looks weathered, adn the off the yoke is slung off her shoulder inteh same way a t-shirt would be when we see her, as we always do, dragging herself out of a bar in the early morning.
Soy abotu yet another rant, but I really needed to express my true dislike of Sarah in this dress.

Carrie always looks like shes going to prom. I prefer the dress on Sarah, but she ruins it with the hair and her annoying look that shoes giving. She kinda looks like a porn star. I dont like this on either one but I will take a prom queen over porn star any day…
I love this totally different look for Carrie….she does have such elegance and poise pulling it off. Definitely my choice
The matchy matchy shoes and clown makeup kill Sarah’s look. Carrie wins in a landslide.
Oh and FC, I’m sure you’re glad both ladies didn’t wear the runway tights. Definitely not right for this dress.

The clutch is not black, it’s blue.
Unfortunately, Sarah ruined the look with too much makeup and the shoes. But I don’t think Carrie looks nice in that dress.

Carrie looks much more relaxed and natural in this dress. Her smile is as gorgeous as the dress. Sarah’s take is almost agressive and the way she stares into the camera silly. Her makeup is overdone and the shoes pornesque. Needless to say, I prefer Carrie!
