On Tuesday I attended by first Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall 2011 presentation at the Armory.
The 70s inspired collection feature beautiful cozy knits, printed dressed, striped dresses, tweed wide leg pants, poncho, jumpsuits, calf length skirts, a metallic copper jacket, fur coats and silk blouses.
The Fall rich colour palette included shades of green, burnt orange, mustard and camel.
Key accessories included lust-worthy shearling lined ankle boots, leather satchels, patent wedge boots, brogues, floppy hats and gold bracelets with cone-shaped accents.
This collection feels like the Marc by Marc Jacobs girl has grown up. There are many easy wearable pieces in this lady-like collection which I’m sure we will all be coveting.
Favourites: Purple printed blouse with matching pants and orange printed top with contrast print skirt
Who I See Wearing This Collection: Liv Tyler, Sophia Bush, Camille Belle, Debra Messing, Marcia Cross, Shenae Grimes and Emma Roberts
