January Jones walked the red carpet in LA tonight for the Premiere of her latest movie, “Unknown.”
I was really surprised to see her wearing Alexander McQueen, but I like the change in direction.
Her McQueen Pre-Fall 2011 navy strapless dress has a gold embroidered detail in the bodice and gold military buttons cascading down the asymmetrical skirt.
Whilst I love the dress the navy part of the dress around the bust need to be adjusted to have the same smooth line like the runway.
I saw these quadruple stacked Christian Louboutin heels in Barney’s the other day and they look impossible to walk in and I don’t find them particularly attractive.
I wish she went head-to-toe runway because those runway heels are awesome.

I agree. The shoes DO look like hooves! Good old gold heels would have be FINE. She ruined that Altier Versace gown with black pumps.
It’s a mcqueen dress, but the fact is that….she ruined it anyway lol
I hate it. I loved this dress in the lookbook as well.
Somethings just not right about it on January and I don’t know if its the shoes, makeup, hair or all three.

her hair loves great from the side but hated it from the front…the bangs aren’t very appealing at all. i think the makeup and shoes also ruin the look…shame because she had potential
It’s actually the hair that bothers me the most, I really don’t like that style.

I like how she takes risks but to me she comes off trying to hard. It would of worked if she copied the runway look head to toe
This is one McQueen I don’t particularly love, it’s okay but nothing special. I don’t like January Jones so I’m glad she didn’t wear one of my fave McQueen’s.

This is a cool dress, but it has flopped on January – too bad, it seems as if the bust aera is really the problem, but the shoe choice pulls it down too. I like her hair and makeup.
I agree – it is a stunning dress but poorly tailored and definitely the wrong shoes! Hair and make-up do look awesome though.
Loved this dress from the McQueen collection and I hoped someone would wear it. January wears it well with the red lip, but the shoes and bust area are off. Still, I like this look a lot.
Have to agree with a lot of you. Hate the styling altogether. The hair, makeup and shoes are just totally wrong for the dress. Love the dress on the model. And I don’t know if I’m right about this, but this seems too funky for January Jones. Not because she’s on Mad Men, and I think that’s her style, I just don’t think she’s an edgy person. I don’t really get the Versace pairing and I don’t get this. She’s too blah to me to effectively look good in a Versace or a McQueen dress. Just not buying it.
I love the dress but those shoes are positively hideous. The are clunky and unflattering.
I did wish she take more risks on the shoes. Man, always the black pumps January. Its like seeing something worthwhile and then when you get to the bottom is a letdown.

I’m always surprised by how badly she wears clothes on the RC, considering how stereotypically beautiful and well-proportioned she is. But whenever I see candids of her in, say, jeans and a button-down, she looks terrific. Maybe just not naturally a girly-girl?
It was soo good until the shoes. I swear to god I thought I would always be able to forgive JAnaury with small thigns like this, but oh my goodness, are they actually cemented to her feet?
I don’t like the dress, the styling, her hair. I just don’t like this look at all.
