If I had said Rihanna was going to wear this Oscar de la Renta Spring 2011 gown to the 2011 Brits Awards or anywhere, you would’ve said I was crazy.
The singer looked amazing wearing this ivory and red silk gazar carnation embroidered gown on stage when she collected her award last night.
Pretty floral gown + edgy singer…technically it shouldn’t work, but I love love love this look on Rihanna.
She’s 4 for 4 for me this week.
Now I have to decide which one of the 4 will make it into the BDOTW poll.

I love her in Dior at the Brits.

The twins are at civil war with the bodice, trying to dominate but the bodice is half winning. I say the blue Dior Couture gown is the best because it is pretty and funky at the same time. This look is nice but the most recent Dior Couture is more pure Rihanna.

I have a bedspread from Ikea just like this. Seriously. It goes with the theme of her outfit choices for the event but its a no from me.

Nice way to end the day – Rihanna’s had quite a run and I personally think she deserves two BDOTW spots – her Grammy and Brit awardsgowns shared a floral motif, but in very different ways, so I would love to see her grammy gown and this one in BDOTW.
FC it can’t be just one! This is one of the most show-stopping weeks in memory. The Brit Awards was just impeccable, but I’m torn between the Grammy’s Dior or JPG. It’s really difficult to separate the two. Perhaps the JPG deserves the second spot because I feel she rocked it just as hard as Andrej when I didn’t think that was possible.
I vote for Dior at the Grammys!

I love this hairstyle on her. RiRi is a pretty woman and I’m glad she’s not edging her pretty out of the picture these days.
For me it’s either the white see-thru Gaultier (yeah I still can’t believe she’s made me fall for such a dress, one that I ordinarily would view as just tacky tacky tacky) or the black/yellow/red Dior (OK, those three colors combined should scream fright night but again, love are first sight).
Dior on the red carpet for me – amazing colour combination, made even better with her firecracker hair. And one of about three people that didn’t look a total mess at the Brits!

This wek, every Rihanna’s look was better than the other one.Jean Paul Gautier, Dior,Oscar de la Renta!!!….I can’t decide which one was the best….But I will have to say the black Dior with the yellow flowers on the front that she wore during her performance at the Grammy’s because it was my favourite look from the runway.
