Jason Wu presented his Fall 2011 collection on Friday.
The young designer continues to serve up strong pieces which are both classic and feminine, which is why all the editors from American Vogue were in the front row to see this collection.
The mostly black and cream collection included strong bold colours of red, mustard and cobalt blue.
I loved the menswear-inspired pieces from this collection which included double collar shrunken tuxedo jackets, bow ties, wide leg pants, tapered pants, and hoodie jacket.
We of course saw the designer signature feathery dresses; alongside ladylike silhouettes, separates and gorgeous red carpet gowns, but the highlights for me were the looks embellished with the Swarovski Elements.

They really stood out on the runway. I especially loved the embellished jacket above.
Key accessories included polka dot tights, leather bags and clutches, platform pumps with gold dipped heels, round sunglasses and Maison Michel for Jason Wu black lace veils.
Favourites: Gold embellished gown Joan Smalls gave me chill when she walked the runway and the nude feather lace Swarovski blouse paired with a black skirt
Who I See Wearing This Collection: Diane Kruger (of course), Camilla Belle (most definitely), Kerry Washington, Reese Witherspoon, Diane Lane, Annette Bening, Leighton Meester and Michelle Williams

Breathtakingly beautiful. I love it.
I love lace! I want everything
Every piece is beautiful. I adore lace and embellished clothes.
That gown on Joan Smalls is stunning! My eyes went straight to her when I saw the post. I’m not really a Jason Wu fan. I often find it hard to pin down the coherence or a strong POV in his collection, but I must say that his progressive maturity and mastry of his craft definitely shows through the collections. This is my favorite of his so far.
omg im so in love with this collection!!!
now i just need to see it on leighton!
I love the gold embellished gown – Oscars worthy.
Love him more & more! Its so elegant!
