I nearly fell off my chair when I saw Ciara on the red carpet at the Black-Eyed Peas 7th Annual Peapod Benefit Concert which was held in Hollywood last night.
The singer showed parts of her super toned body wearing a chocolate Emilio Pucci Spring 2011 dress.
This type of look only works if you have a body like woah, which Ciara clearly has.
I love that she’s never afraid to bare all and that she does so in a sexy but not sleazy way.

Her skin tone and the color of this dress really make this look work for her–it could be hideous and cheap with the wrong combination–on the wrong person.
I think Ciara can be sleezy. I don’t find the dress appealing at all. The color is unappetizing.

As far as I’m concerned, this dress only works if you are a pole technician.
It’s a bit too much of a jigsaw-like for me. I love Ciara’s brazen on the red carpet, but this just isn’t quite right for me.
This dress is too revealing which makes her look cheap.
I think she looks good, no over-accessorizing. But I think her body type is what really makes this work – could you imagine this dress on her best friend Kim Kardashian?
This dress is the epitome of sleazy much like everything she wears imo. In fact I find it on the verge of vulgar. The cutouts are way too much and it is far too tight. Not a single thing ladylike about it. It is trying way too hard to be noticed for the wrong reasons. She should take a page out of JLO’s book and learn the difference from sexy vs slutty.

She’s wearing it well, but this is still a really trashy dress.
In my eyes a dress like this will always look cheap and sleazy, and it is even worse considering it is Chiara wearing it.
I think she looks great in the dress because you have to remember that this dress isn’t for everyone. She’s like a rock star so they can get away with more. It’s not as if this dress should be on Gwyneth Paltrow or Nicole Kidman. This is what makes Rock and Roll fun and interesting.
On anyone else, I would hate this probably, but she has the right body type and the right skin tone for the colour and fit. She does not look sleazy and she let the dress do all the talking.
Jeez, she looks amazing. No one could pull this off except Ciara. I also love the color of the dress with her skin tone.
I can see people’s point but I think she looks amazing! Her hair and makeup are not over the top which in my mind keep her from looking sleezy.

I’m not a fan of these types of revealing dresses at all, but I think she pulled it off. The way she is carrying herself, the elegant manner she is posing, the length of the dress, the subtle hair and makeup and her overall body type allows her to pull it off without venturing into slutty or tacky.
With a different body type or too much make-up or attitude it could have easily gone the other way.
Sorry to disagree, but this dress is just unbelievably hideous & vulgar. I love Ciara, but this dress just screams Dalston Market, all that’s missing are the acrylic nail talons.

I ADORE this look. I agree that her skin tone and the color of the dress work in absolute harmony. When I saw thumbnails of her in this dress it almost looked like that was color blocking and not necessarily her skin. Now if only her music were as good as her sartorial selections.
Yuck. Sorry. I think the way the dress fits is actually detracting from her body. It’s totally unflattering around the waist and bust
