Christian Siriano Fall 2011

Christian Siriano took a walk on the dark side for his Fall 2011 collection.

The mostly black collection was anything but boring. The textures were luxe and rich. The shapes and structures were fascinating. The details were outstanding and blazers were tailored to perfection.

The dark collection did have some other beautiful colours add like rose pink and forest green.

Amongst the jackets, skirts and pants were the designers’ signature beautiful dresses and fantasy gowns.

The breath-taking heels were created as part of the designers ongoing collaboration with Payless.

A model took a tumble on the runway, whilst another walked the finale with only one shoe on which you can see in the video below.

Both Gabrielle Union and Mena Suvari had no such problems walking in their heels as they took their front row seats.

Front Row: Alexa Chung (in Deyrolle pour Opening Ceremony dress with Debenhams shoes), Gabrielle Union and Mena Suvari

Favourites: Black turtle neck paired with a black satin tulip skirt and the black feathered top paired with black satin pants

Who I See Wearing This Collection: Mena Suvari, Camilla Belle, Rosario Dawson, Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie, January Jones, Katrina Bowden, Emmy Rossum and Leighton Meester

this collection looks like it was made by a bunch of high school kids.

Possibly the most horrible, cheap-looking shoes ever. Stop trying so hard, Alexa!

I have to say that big pink skirt looks like cheap shag carpeting hanging off that poor model’s hips. Otherwise, the collection is impressive

I agree. While I liked almost everything else, the big pink skirt did look like it was made of carpet remnants.

FC just wondering where his designs are sold at? I remember his first collection was sold on Bluefly.

I quite love the green look, but I mostly here to say how much I love the crazy-faced Alexa.

That black tulip skirt — such amazing construction! Love.

Oh, those poor models! Seriously! Christian said on his twitter page that the runway was freshly painted and still sticky and that I can see would make walking in those gigantic heels impossible.

Is it just me or the these heels make the models look like they have hooves instead of feet?
Poor heel-less model. Well, at least she got off cheap, most of them had to walk with heels on both their feet.
Fashion makes us do such silly things sometimes.

I can’t wait to see what Christian Siriano’s pal and muse Mena Suvari wears!

Alexa looks so scary with red eye. Are those red heels by Charlotte Olympia?

That pink rosette skirt is the spit of the British racing green Monique Lhullier CZJ wore to the Globes.
