The BCBG Max Azria Fall 2011 presentation was a great way to start fashion week as they delivered fresh simplicity over white turtlenecks.

We saw floaty maxi dresses, tunics, camel coats, hooded jackets and separates presented on a neutral colour palette with pops of orange, blue, maroon and olive shades. We also saw some distressed bleached prints.

Everything was long and lean with a loose-fitting silhouette. Folds revealed colour blocking and belts dropped waists.

The models hair was pulled back into a low ponytail to complete the minimalist look.

Key accessories included envelope clutches and suede/leather knee high boots.
