It’s Day 1 of New York Fashion Week and I thought I would start of the week dressed as a typical New Yorker wearing all black channeling my inner Downtown Girl.
My friends over at theOutnet.com pulled together a capsule collection for me to wear during Fall 2011 Fashion Week.
Today I’m wearing an Alexander Wang layered crepe shirt dress, with a black Rick Owens winged leather jacket paired with tights (mandatory in this weather) and animal print Christian Louboutin pumps, which will be swapped out for more comfortable shoes at some point today I’m sure.
I will be carrying a Sara Berman Cici embellished convertible leather bag which will house my iPad, flip camera, my Nikon camera and notepad.

Today I’m a Downtown Girl; tomorrow I could be dressed for a First Date.
It’s the perfect way to pull together a head-to-toe look.
My schedule is super packed today I’ll be going to see Porter Grey, BCBG Max Azria, Victor de Souza, Wes Gordon, Mara Hoffman, Z Spoke, Christian Siriano and Irina Shabayeva.
