At the party following the press conference for Katy Perry’s ‘Purr’ fragrance launch in Mexico City, the singer did more than re-present her new fragrance.
She also gave everyone an eye-full of her ample cleavage wearing a Georges Hobeika Fall 2010 Couture strapless dress.
The purple embellished dress has an illusion panel to keep prevent any wardrobe malfunctions.
You don’t notice this on the model, but she’s not as blessed as Katy.
Katy’s dress is breath-taking, but it’s the second thing you notice.
Black peep-toes completed her look.

FC, when I first saw this pic, I stared a minute too long wondering if she’d had a wardrobe malfunction. I saw that, then I tried to see the dress. Completely took away from the dress for me.

The dress is better suited to someone small chested like the model. It looks too small on Katy. In every picture I’ve seen, she looks uncomfortable, like she’s trying to cover up using her arms around her midsection.

I love Georges Hobeika and I adore Katy. This dress was fabulous on the runway but Katy and all her assets really bring even more drama to it. Not many women could pull this off and not look a tad slutty but Katy has that bombshell personality to really get away with it. She looks like quite the little sex kitten. Purr indeed!

I probably would have disliked this dress more if I hadn’t first read Katy’s interview with Elle magazine where she talks about her love/hate relationship with her endowments. She’s a beautiful girl and as long as she’s comfortable and having fun,, I say go for it.
Illusion panels are supposed to be subtle and barely noticeable – this one is taken to the breaking point and looks ridiculous, not fun like Katy’s fun personality, but stupid ridiculous…..
