Annette Bening recently appeared on the “The Jay Leno Show” which is taped in LA.
She talked to the host about Newsweek cover, faking while acting in sex scenes and her new movie “The Kids Are Alright.”
She looked beautiful in her Giambattista Valli Spring/Summer 2011 dress colour block dress.
It’s very event appropriate, especially as she opted for the black and leopard print version.
This look is both modern, yet classic at the same time which is why is suits Annette so well.
I’m picturing nude peep-toes.
What type of shoes do you think Annette paired with her look?

I would have LOVED the runway version. The orange I think, would have still been appropriate. Her and Giambattista Valli are a good fit.
I agree–she could totally carry off the orange
I agree also, in fact, I think she would have looked better in the orange….
I agree, love the combo of orange and leopard print.
She is actually wearing embellished black peeptoes. They look like old choos to me, but they are probably something else:

The sixth secodn is the only one in which i could see the shoes.
Hope I could help
I think she could wear either version, but I’m glad she chose the black. She’s aging so beautifully, and the black lends yet another touch of class to her appearance.
I’m thinking peep-toes too, FC, but I’m seeing black.
Classy and beautiful.
Big fan of your blog! This is from the Giambatista Valli 2011 resort collection, not spring/summer
Its the commercial collection of s/s ’11, not resort
