Who Wore Alberta Ferretti Better? Violante Placido or Tess Daly

It looks like Cheryl Cole wasn’t the only one giving us a red carpet re-run at the 2011 National Television Awards which was held at The O2 in London last week, Tess Daly did too.

Violante Placido wore this Alberta Ferretti draped silk-chiffon gown to the 2010 Venice Film Festival Opening Ceremony and “Black Swan” Premiere.

I loved the subtle gold accessories which she paired with her Resort 2011 blush gown, as they didn’t over power her look.

Unfortunately when it comes to Tess Daly, I see the clutch, the cuff and the necklace before I see her gorgeous gown.

When it comes to elegance less is more which is why Violante wins this by a very long margin.

This breath-taking gown is available to purchase from Net-A-Porter.com.

Yep totally agree, the accessories Tess has detract from the gorgeous dress. Plus the way Violante stands in the dress is very becoming.

I agree. Tess looks very forced. The dress is shut down for all by Violante. THAT is how you were Alberta Ferretti.

This was a tough call for me, but then I like excessive jewelry. Ultimately, though went with Violante too.

All I can see on Tess is overbronzed skin and way too flashy jewelry for this delicate gown. Violante wears perfect accessories.

Tess Daly, whomever she is, has over-accessorized.
