Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Monthly Archives: January 2011

As far as Camilla Belle was concerned it was mission accomplished when it came to her Jason Wu look at the “From Prada to Nada” LA Premiere, because everyone was talking about it yesterday.

In West Hollywood, California yesterday she was spotted making an appearance on Extra with Mario Lopez.

Her look was more demure on this occasion, as she opted for a cream French Connection ruffled top with ribbed detailing which she paired with a black pencil skirt which tied at the waist.

I love the whole simple look. Not a hint of try hard.

Black ballet pumps, Ralph Lauren Cat Eye sunglasses and silver bracelets completed her look.

It’s good to see her out and about promoting her movie.

Do not adjust your monitors.

This really is Whitney Port wearing her own Whitney Eve Spring 2011 collection.

The reality TV rarely wears her own collections, so this is a big deal.

Why she never wears her own collection more often I will never understand, because she looks adorable wearing this orange sorbet Whitney Eve Spring 2011 ensemble.

She wore it to the Special K ‘What Will You Gain When Your Lose’ event in Los Angeles this week.

The striped button down skirt was paired with a peachy top and animal print ballet flats.

I totally loved this look until I reached the shoes.

I’m all for animal print, but they don’t work for me with this spring time fresh look.

It seems like the reality TV stars are talking over Manhattan as Holly Madison was also spotted in the Big Apple headed to PIX11 Morning News yesterday.

She was there to promote her E reality show ‘Holly’s World.’

I can’t remember the last time I featured Holly, but she gets a name check here because she opted to wear a striped floral print Louis Vuitton Resort 2011 halter dress and a pink Louis Vuitton Resort 2011 trench coat.

Her luscious pretty pink look was hideously let down with black suede boots.

But it looks like were just traveling shoes, as after watching the video of her on PIX11 Morning News she thankfully changed into more complementary shoes.

This look is very Holly – sugary and pink.

This week Jérôme Lambert, CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre officially presented Diane Kruger as the face of the new Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Lady Ultra Thin watch.

We see her sporting a casual yet chic look which included a 3.1 Phillip Lim tunic from the Holiday 2010 collection and black tapered pants.

I love the floral appliqué on her bibbed tunic as it very Diane with its whimsical antique feel.

A braided black and gold headband plus sleek black patent pumps completed her look.

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian was spotted leaving her hotel in New York City last night after a day of press junkets.

She looked gorgeous wearing a Lanvin for H&M eggplant one-shoulder dress.

The dress with a poufy shoulder and black grosgrain waistband has been well worn by other celebrities.

It’s interesting how she always seems to be months behind any trend.

She styled her dress with YSL Trib Too pumps and sultry smoky eyes.

This is a divine colour for her. I would’ve expected her to go for the attention seeking bright pink version.

Later that same day President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama greeted President Jintao of the People’s Republic of China, on the North Portico at the White House in Washington, D.C. for a state dinner given in his honor.

She floors me wearing an Alexander McQueen Resort 2011 gown which completed a double for her wearing British designers yesterday, as she also wore Roksanda Ilincic.

There are many of you who believe that there are certain style rules when it comes to being a First Lady, but Mrs O marches to the beat of her own drum which is why her style choices have become a world obsession.

Her red gown with a black brush-stroke print as been ever so slightly modified from the runway as the sleeves are less poufy.

Mrs O also wears the dress with one sleeve off-the-shoulder.

This is a great colour and I’m glad she styled the look with a chic updo.

She may have a huge glam squad behind her, but when she steps onto the red carpet she makes everything seem so effortless.

The sign of a true fashion icon.

Definitely a BDOTW contender. It gave me goosebumps.

Beautiful one-of-a-kind Kimberly McDonald earrings completed her look. The unique black geode and ruby earrings accentuated the red hue of her gown perfectly.
