Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2011 Couture collection showed that the designer is still in love with bold shoulders.

I expected to see super sexy glamorous looks, which were bold and daring.

I wasn’t disappointed.

We saw plenty of plunging necklines, double thigh-high splits and floor-length dresses made of lurex which clung to the body.

I don’t recall Alexandre presenting prints before, but this collection had a few looks with bold graphic prints which were one of the few every day wearable looks from this collection along with a striking taupe satin jumpsuit.

The rest were for evenings out or working the red carpet like the gold fringe beaded Swarovski elements dress with the neckline plunging to the models navel, or the black figure-hugging dress with the sheer panels.
