Red Carpet Fashion Awards

At this point I think Diane Kruger is deliberately making it difficult for us to pick one look for her in this week’s Best Dressed poll.

The German actress becomes the first person to wear look from the Spring 2011 Couture runway shows which took place in Paris this week.

I loved her in Chanel earlier this week and I adored her in Gucci, but this look which she wore to the Sidaction Gala Dinner in Paris last night is utter perfection.

Her light pink off-the-shoulder Chanel Spring 2011 Couture dress with a tiered skirt, pearl detailing and a black bow accent is divine.

This is Diane at her very best.

Black accessories complement her effortless look.

I was invited to the Elie Saab Private Dinner Party following his Spring 2011 Couture fashion show, but I received the invitation after I had already booked my return Eurostar ticket back to London on the night of the party.

After kicking myself really hard for my error, my disappointment grew further when I saw this picture of Cameron Diaz hanging out at Mr Saab’s crib last night.

Cameron has been in Paris all week with her boyfriend A-Rod, but she hasn’t attended any Couture Fashion Shows.

Is she in town for Oscar fittings???

I guess we will have to see. But I’m already mentally making my Cameron D/Elie Saab wish list now.

I can’t recall Cameron ever wearing Elie Saab, so I’m excited to see her wearing a teal blue pencil dress from the designers Fall 2010 collection.

I’m thinking she wore this dress with nude pumps, what do you think?

Of all the celebrities who attended the Gucci Rue Royale Reopening Party in Paris this week, I was the least inspired by Gemma Arterton.

The British actress has wowed in Gucci before, but I’m not sure this look is on par with Jessica Alba, Diane Kruger and Olivia Wilde when it comes to giving us the wow factor.

Gemma wore a Gucci Spring 2011 sable cape linen dress with a woven belt.

Her look was paired with matching open-toe ankle boots.

I love the look for a daytime event or for a photocall, but I can’t help wishing she’d opted for a bolder look for this occasion.

Iman final proves that she is human.

The uber model who barely puts a foot wrong on the red carpet visited Martha Stewart’s Living Radio at SIRIUS XM Studio this week in New York City wearing a look I do not favour from the waist down.

Her Chris Benz Spring 2011 emerald green and aqua printed jacket is fabulous, much like cream vest and tribal necklace but those grey pants and black booties make me weep.

Everyone has their off days, so I will put this look down to the fact that Iman was attending a recording at a radio station therefore she was meant to be heard and not seen.

Anna Wintour wore Tom Ford to the Gucci Rue Royale Reopening Party in Paris this week.

She wore a black and white animal print long sleeved dress from the designer debut Spring 2011 womenswear collection.

The Editor-In-Chief for American Vogue surprisingly decided not wear her favourite beige kitten heels.

Instead she wore this look with black suede boots and a beaded necklace.

We may not have to wait long to see our next look from Tom Ford’s Spring 2011 collection as he has his sights set on dressing an actress attending the Oscars.

Personally I don’t think many looks from this collection are Oscar worthy, especially after many breath-taking looks presented during Paris Couture Fashion Week.

I attended the very intimate presentation of the Valentino Spring 2011 Couture collection at the Hotel Salomon de Rothschild in Paris yesterday. It was the perfect romantic setting.

Valentino never disappoints because elegance, femininity and beauty is in its DNA.

Beautiful delicate butterflies and floral appliqués adorned this collection of mostly floor-length dresses.

Every piece moved with a wave-like fluidity which was both sophiscated and sensual giving us a beautifully haunted atmosphere.

With the music softly playing the background, you could actually hear the tiered ruffles flutter delicately as the models walked the gold runway.

The colour palette was neutral with tones of stone, pale pink, beige, lilac plus aqua and classic Valentino red and aqua.

Front Row: Shala Monroque, Dasha Zukova, Bianca Brandolini d’Adda, Caroline Sieber and Delfina Fendi

Favourites: Black sheer dress with white floral appliqués and light pink tiered ruffled dress with sequin embellishments.

Who I See Wearing This Collection: Elle Fanning, Eva Mendes, Camilla Belle, Ginnifer Goodwin, Jessica Alba, Keira Knightley, Kirsten Dunst, Leighton Meester, Cate Blanchett and Sarah Jessica Parker
