Emily Blunt In Andrew Gn – “Gnomeo and Juliet” London Premiere

Emily Blunt was in London this weekend to attend to the premiere of her latest movie, “Gnomeo and Juliet.”

She wore a lovely Andrew Gn Spring 2011 long sleeved dress with laser cut floral accents, but that was the only thing I liked about her look.

The styling is really bad.

There is nothing wrong with wearing Spring looks in Fall, but Emily added heavy black tights and unimpressive heels which made the look feel very heavy when it should feel easy and light.

I’m also not very excited about her new hair colour. I much prefer her as a brunette.

Do these people live in parallel universes to us. It is freezing right now in London and a cotton spring dress look ludicrous . The black tights look even worse.

I agree about the hair colour, but really like the contrast between the light dress and the tights. I really like this look!

I think it was the tights that ruined the whole look. They made her legs look fat, even though she’s got nice legs. I also don’t like her new hair color. Brunette makes her blue eyes sparkle like crystal.

I have to agree with everything you say F.C. – I especially do not like Emily’s new hair color, it destorys completely her vibrant good looks for me. She is meant to be a brunette IMO.

This dress should have been worn in the spring with metallic strappy sandals. Trying to make it “fall” has failed miserably.
    Hot messes!

Is this the coat you’re referring to?

      • june February 2, 2011 at 11:03 #

yes, that’s the coat! do you know who makes it? it’s pretty cute 🙂

        • Ann Onymous February 3, 2011 at 23:53 #

The coat pulls the look together a bit more. The black tights aren’t so startling.

Gorgeous, light, fluttery dress. Agree that the heavy, black tights ruin the look.

Completely agree. I hope her hair is for a movie, brown suits her best.

She is a Tighter (someone who wears tights often). Tights must go. I am not liking the lighter hair color either, though it does look natural on her.
