Reality TV star Kim Kardashian was spotted leaving her hotel in New York City last night after a day of press junkets.
She looked gorgeous wearing a Lanvin for H&M eggplant one-shoulder dress.
The dress with a poufy shoulder and black grosgrain waistband has been well worn by other celebrities.
It’s interesting how she always seems to be months behind any trend.
She styled her dress with YSL Trib Too pumps and sultry smoky eyes.
This is a divine colour for her. I would’ve expected her to go for the attention seeking bright pink version.

i think that kim kardashian has been lately going for the ‘elegance’ look and is trying to clear her ‘attention seeking’ name by wearing big name desginers and i have to embarrasingly admit that shes doign pretty well, but you’re right that dress is pretty old!
In celebrity years this dress is now old.

I have this feeling that she has a different stylist these days. Her style is less hoochy and more elegant.
I like it a lot on her. I also think it’s strange how you say ‘months behind any trend’ – this dress is so beautiful and classic – and I know it went on sale months ago but how can you behind on a trend when it’s not really a ‘trendy’ dress in the first place?

Kim looks chic and classy even though, nio matter what she does, she will always be that Playboy bombshell with the attention-wh-re family, sex tape and no actual good reason to be famous than say Cate Blanchett, Maya Angelou or even Danica Patrick! Admit it- the Trib Toos work here.

On a somewhat related note, I went in H&M yesterday (I live in Sweden), and I was surprised to see that several of the Lanvin dresses were still hanging there, sort of blended in with the rest of the H&M stuff. After hearing about all the hype and enormous queues, I thought they had sold out in mere hours..
I’ve seen that too in a few stores. Once the first day of excitement is over, people get over it
I love this dress on her. This may be hte best I have ever seen this dress worn by a celebrity, I think it calls for an absence of much jewellery, and it needs more or less simplicity to be pulled off. Although I understand what you are sayign about the pink, in that it is attention seeking, essentially what kim is very good at, but this shade seems far more like other colours she wears. She looks gorgeous.

I love the dress on her, and it’s styled correctly. It’s not in the typical formula of tight, short, boobs out that she loves.
I like Kim’s style. Since I don’t have an H&M, I didn’t know that she was “months” behind. But, I am not a Lanvin fan.
