January Jones appears in the Versace Spring 2011 campaign for bags, shoes, sunglasses and optical frames, but it’s Abbey Lee Kershaw who models for the ready-to-wear collection.
The Australian model was shot for this ad campaign by Mario Testino.
We all know that Donatella loves blondes, so could this be the reason Abbey dyed her hair platinum blonde for the Spring 2011 runway shows?
The campaign also features platinum blonde male models Malthe Lund Madsen and Victor Nylander in leather pants.
But they fad into the background as Abbey stands out wearing bright colours and fringed Mediterranean inspired prints.

ADORO everything!!! Viva DONATELLA!!!
love,love,love versace and this collection!
Nice collection.
I know this is a fashion blog but I can’t help but saying that the model they have chosen is a skeleton. And a gormless one at that. Scarily thin and totally expressionless.
Would have preferred January Jones.
agree with happydaiz abt model, she is not right for versace, lifeless and boring.like the clothes very much.
LOVE LOVE LOVE
Gorgeous clothes–I want her shoes
I love this campaign, but I much preffered Abbey with her old hair colour. Now she looks a little fake imo.
wow, love the collection! Can’t wait to see it on the red carpet!:P
me too
Oh, Abbey, my favorite model! I’m so happy for her! She really rocks this platinum look, even though I missed her golden hair at first. Love everything about it!
Wow, could they have found a thinner model? Nice clothes, though. It’s kind of scary that the camera adds ten pounds.
Not a fan of the skeletal, colourless look for men or women. The male models look like adolescent boys. Not to my taste but I guess it depends on the demographic this ad campaign is aimed at.
classic versace blonde, no? she’s outstanding in these ads, but i still prefer the mood of those january jones’ ads.
Cripes – Abbey needs a few Tim Tams!
My fave shot is the black dress with the strappy back.
LOVE this collection!!! <3
