Natalie Portman changed before heading to the Fox Searchlight 2011 Golden Globe Awards Party last night.
She was still clutching her Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture for her role in “Black Swan.”
The mother-to-be wore a light grey Azzaro Spring 2011 halter dress.
Her dress was decorated with light embellishments around the neckline.
On any other occasion I would be frowning at ballet flats on the red carpet, but the poor girl must have had a very long day.

Did Azzaro change their PR team or something? We never saw pieces from Azarro on the red carpet and now every week we get at least one, and big events on big stars like this. I don’t like the look very much, but she’s pregnant and it looks confortable so it’s ok, she already gave her all with the award show look.

same. I dont have the whole “Oh well, shes pregnant so she looks amazing in that hideous dress” simpathy, but i do when it come to shoes…especially when the 23 year old like myself has issues with heel pain. I cant imagine what it would be like being pregnant have have to wear 6 inch heels!

Don’t care for this, kind of dull on her. Looks better on the Azzaro model. Didn’t like her red carpet gown, pink and red?? Flats are alright, after all she is preggers and I am sure her poor feet hurt!
Everything Natalie Portman wears these days is MEH. Boring. Her Golden Globes acceptance speech was AWFUL.
I forgive the flats, since pregnant women are not allowed to wear high heels all the time.
Also, I read somewhere that Karl Lgerfield once told her that she is short and she should never try to look tall. That’s who she is
Flats are bad for pregnant women anyway… guess that doesn’t apply to celebs… She looks great but it doesn’t compare to earlier with the Viktor & Rolf OR the Gianfranco Ferré . And then I kinda feel someone who was taller would’ve looked better in the dress.
Where did you get that from? When I was pregnant with both of my kids, my doctor said that heels are not good since your balance and equilibrium are off with the belly in front. I found that out the hard way when I fell. My now 12 year old is fine, but I pulled a muscle which was very painful. From then on, I was forced to wear either flats or kitten heels.
I agree that someone taller would have worked the dress better. Even with heels, she still would have been too short for the dress.
I loved her dress at the awards and I love this one, too. It looks stylish yet comfortable. The flats must have been a relief after such a long day.
