Best Minimalist Award
Our second burst of colour at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards came via Claire Danes.
She opted for a simple bubblegum pink custom-made Calvin Klein Collection halter gown.
Claire always gives us minimal glamour in such a classy sophisticated way.
Some of you find her boring, but I’m captivated by her ability to blow me away with such simple looks.
Fred Leighton jewels and a polished updo complete this understated look.

Of all the dresses last night, this is the one I would’ve most wanted to wear. A because it’s Calvin Klein, and B it looks great on a woman with small breasts.
This time, I don’t find her boring because the color is surprising – for her – and I adore the hair.
I really like the colour on her but Im not a fan of the style of the dress. Also she kind of reminds me of Malibu Barbie

She was tied for best dressed with Jan Jones. I loved everything about it especially the colour- Perfection!!
I have really enjoyed her style in the last several months. I can’t say I took much notice before then. Overall I was a fan of this look, and loved the color. I had slightly mixed feelings about the bodice, however, as I wasn’t entirely certain that it was flattering. On the one hand, only a woman with a small bust could pull it off. On the other hand, this dress really emphasized that she is flat as a board!
She looks perfect. That’s a great cut and colour for her.
Glad she decided on minimalist after the statement she made at the Emmy’s. Lovely color.

One of my faves of the night. Pretty dress in the right color. It fits and is styled perfectly. The hair is a perfect match as well.

Her torso is so long in proportion to her height that I have trouble noticing anything else about what she wears. Still, this is pretty, I think. I’m glad she pulled her hair back to avoid a barbie effect.

Even tho im not a huge fan of her, I must compliment her style. She always does minimal and classic, never overdone, and looks GREAT. This was one of my favorites of the night.
Just one small critique, if you look around her chest, you will notice her tan is off. Distracted me a bit, but other than that, perfection.
