Nicole Richie sported a 20′s inspired ‘do on the red carpet at the Art Of Elysium “Heaven” Gala in LA last night.
Sadly that is where my love ends for her vintage look.
The details on her black Emilio Pucci gown are exquisite, but like the Olsen twins I feel the dress is too big and totally overwhelming her tiny frame.

I don’t like the hair. I don’t like the make-up. I don’t like the dress.
Yeah. In fact, this is one of the least attractive looks I’ve seen from her.
Nicole’s hair looks great and she accessorised well but you’re right this is not the dress for her.

I really do not like the hair. It just does not look good. But I do love her dress, it’s beautiful, just not for Nicole.

I just saw her look from last year’s Gala and remembered how much I liked it. She had long dark hair and this crazy Boho-chic dress. I liked it much better than this year’s.
It’s not one of my favorite looks of all time, but I can’t dislike it either. Alright, I guess.
I think this is a fab approach and choice for her, but I agree that it overwhelms her. If the sizing and fit worked for her petite size 0 frame, it would be perfect.

If only it were more fitted since I like the hair, makeup and accessories.
