The first thing I said when I saw Hailee Steinfeld at the BAFTA Los Angeles 17th Annual Awards Season Tea Party was, “thank god she wore the modified version.”
The young actress attended this event wearing a Marc Jacobs scalloped organza dress.
Her cocoa and white scalloped organza dress has a full tiered skirt and a polka-dot bodice.
The model’s version would’ve been too sexy for someone as young as Hailee.
I’m really beginning to love her young feminine style, so I’ll pass on criticizing her on her footwear choice on this occasion.

Great modifications to suit her age and style. Wonderful.
Another perfect dress. I’m starting to like this girl.
She’s making all the right choices.
She looks wonderful again.
Love this dress. FYI the length that she is wearing is not a modification per se it is the length that they have made it. The runway was modified. Sorry to sound so pedantic.
This girl is making impressive choices. I think the shoes work really well too.
I’m very impressed with the choices made for this young actress, she looks perfect for her age – bravo!
This dress is available at net-a-porter right now.
I even like the shoes with it.
So sweet and happy and beautiful! I’ll take Marc Jacobs over Valentino any day, even though they both suit young actresses. Marc offers a little more than just femininity. I really started to like Hailee. She was great in True Grit, but some gifted actresses aren’t cut out for the red carpet (think Ellen Page). Hailee seems to have had fun with fashion so far.
I wish she wore the brown runway version with cream bow heels. Not a black version with those awful shoes… cute as strawberry pie though
The alterations are a HUGE improvement- I love her version of this dress. Very cute, very tasteful.
My goodness, if she isn’t just the cutest thing! She’s such a stylish, talented young girl. I really hope she keeps her head on straight!
Celebrities are absically jsut goign through your wishlist now! Wait until we see that Lanvin dress again, or the malandrino!
Holy cow! I enjoyed Hailee’s performance….but I am enjoying her dress choices even more! I hope she gives us many more beautiful Red Carpet appearances.
She looks so cute and age appropriate. For me, it could have been a little more fitted around the waist, but I love it on her.
So lovely. She looks adorable.
Her version of the dress is so much better than the model’s. I don’t like the shoes though
