  3. Chiara January 15, 2011 at 20:24 #

Seeing them next to each other there were a lot of nice dresses but I like Natalie Portman’s simple elegance the best.

  4. Sally January 15, 2011 at 20:25 #

you are very welcome. I do go into robot mode during awards season. No food, no sleep, just fashion ;)

    • Hannah January 15, 2011 at 20:33 #

Completely ditto! FC cannot be human! I actualyl refuse to believe it!

      • Fashion Critic January 15, 2011 at 20:40 #

        lol ;)

  5. Hannah January 15, 2011 at 20:31 #

I’m almsot surprised to say this, but it was Michelle williams, easily, for me. I adored this look!

  6. Rahel January 15, 2011 at 20:38 #

Natalie was to win this. She looks so amazing.

  7. Megan January 15, 2011 at 21:03 #

Echoing the thanks FC!!!! The fashion and your coverage is my favorite part of award show season. I love movies too but that aspect of it is a not-very-close second.

    • Fashion Critic January 15, 2011 at 21:11 #

      Thank you very much :)

  8. robbie January 15, 2011 at 21:08 #

michelle williams for me, although tilda was a close second.

  9. Alexa January 15, 2011 at 21:16 #

I gotta say that it was very well dressed event, I did not expect it to be this good and I have a huge problem with choosing.

I’ll go with Michelle Williams because I love how gracious, effortless and stunning she looks.

FC thank you so much for this amazing coverage. I’ve been studying all the time for last three days because I’ve got huge exams coming up and your blog is like a breath of fresh air. Amazing job as always.

    • Fashion Critic January 15, 2011 at 22:23 #

Glad to hear I can provide some light relief. Good luck with your exams x

  10. Kelly January 15, 2011 at 21:18 #

I can’t wait for tomorrow! My vote is for Emma Stone…unrecognizable but WOW what a bombshell here!

  11. The Dame January 15, 2011 at 22:04 #

Really wanted to go for Natalie Portman but Kim Kardashian won over her :/

  12. Marvel January 15, 2011 at 22:15 #

Jennifer Lawrence is a knock out.
    Runner up Natalie Portman

  13. summer January 15, 2011 at 22:57 #

    eva in valentino

  14. Rookie January 15, 2011 at 23:05 #

    Emma by far.

  15. Estranged January 15, 2011 at 23:09 #

Elle and Tilda. Both look great in dresses which fit them perfectly.

  16. fashion-mommy January 15, 2011 at 23:29 #

just loved Kim Kardashian! Tilda Swinton as ‘the Frdige’ did nothing for me, whilst I prefer Emma Stone when she hasn’t got Lindsey Lohan’s hair, and that dress makes Michelle Williams look pregnant.
Did love Natalie Portman and Jennifer Lawrence.

  17. Tahj January 16, 2011 at 00:11 #

Out of these Natalie. I love the black and white. Emily Blunts dress I’m pretty sure has been worn by older women like Annette Bening before. Speaking of Annette, she was the best dressed of the night in white! Shame on you for not including her. Because shes’ an older woman? She looked much classier and more chic than these young starlets.

They all look amazing its too hard to pick! Im excited for your golden globe coverage FC! But would you please please post Julianne Moore in Tom Ford Spring 2011 not only did she look great but she also became the first to wear the coveted collection, i would say that is worthy of a post! :)

    Giiiiiirl Emma stone owned it!

  20. asherlev1 January 16, 2011 at 02:58 #

Really tough. I loved Michelle and Elle a lot, but I also liked Emily, Jennifer and Hailee.

Gotta give it to Michelle though.

  21. pipsqueak January 16, 2011 at 03:12 #

Such a beautiful posse that I cannot and will not choose! With the exception of the annoying Eva Mendes and Kim Kardashian, I just love every girl/woman of talent and substance here – so rare to see them in one post! I love the post. I’d clip it if it were in a magazine. Jennifer Lawrence looks a bit like a young Kate Winslet here. I hope she’s becoming the next Kate professionally.

  22. Kaz January 16, 2011 at 06:54 #

Good lord, Kim wins for the second week, I don’t know what has become of me!

Emma Stone a close runner up though.

    Enjoy the Globes FC :)

    • Fashion Critic January 16, 2011 at 08:50 #

      Will do x

  23. Alina January 16, 2011 at 07:13 #

For me it was between Kim and Natalie but I went for Kim as I don’t think I’ve ever seen her look so good.

  24. Victoria January 16, 2011 at 07:30 #

Voted for Emma, (I didn’t recognize her until I read the commentary haha!) but Michelle comes in a very close second. :D

  25. rebecca January 16, 2011 at 10:23 #

      FC x

  26. anne January 16, 2011 at 11:26 #

I was torn between Eva, Emma and Natalie. Went with Eva in the end cause i’m a sucker for big bows :D. I had such a busy schedule lately that i had to keep updated with your blog on my mobile. Congrats on the coverage and looking forward to the Golden Globes :x.!

    • Fashion Critic January 16, 2011 at 11:36 #

      thanks Anne x

  27. Jones19 January 16, 2011 at 11:45 #

Gotta go with Kim Kardashian. Girl has never looked better. Thanks for the coverage FC!

    • Fashion Critic January 16, 2011 at 11:47 #

      welcome x

  28. Amanda January 16, 2011 at 15:06 #

    Eva!!! By far!

  29. Shaina January 16, 2011 at 15:40 #

This is such a hard decision. As much as I loved Emma Stone in Balenciaga, I had to chose Kim Kardashian. This is the best I have ever seen her and she just looks too amazing in that gown.

  30. Emi January 16, 2011 at 17:25 #

Easy choice, Natalie Portman, Eva Mendes chose very predictable shoes, i’m tired of nude pumps, gorgeous but a bit boring.
