At the 2011 AFI Awards yesterday, Mila Kunis proved my theory right.
The Victoria Beckham Spring 2011 collection would look better on the red carpet.
Mila looked gorgeous wearing a white strapless full skirted Victoria Beckham paint-effect cotton-organdy dress with has horizontal shimmering silver stripes.
The ‘Azzendine Alaia’ inspired dress has had slight modifications on the bodice to improve the look of the dress.
This proves my second statement about the collection which was that it looked unfinished on the runway.
A blue Balenciaga python clutch, Neil Lane jewels and Ferragamo nude peep-toes completed her look.

Wow, she looks amazing! I love it.
She looked gorgeous.Love the glossy hair.
This look was far better than the one she wore to the Critics Choice .
love this look was waiting to see this dress from VB on the red carpet…as it is one of my favs from the collection…
I much prefer the bodice on the runway, it’s a lot more interesting. The dress looks a lot more generic now. All the same, Mila looks gorgeous.
I feel the same way
I agree, I prefer the bodice on the runway too… Mila looks stunning tho, glad to see her both smiling and not in black!!
Agreed!!
A good look. Better than the runway but I dont think this type of dress suits Mila’s moody personality but kudos to her shaking things up
mila looks gorgeous, am glad she’s not wearing black! i do think she has a tendency to choose dresses tht makes her look shorter though
I adore her in this dress, great look for her. I do agree with the other posters that the bodice looks better on the runway.
I liked the runway version of the bodice too- i also wish she had jazzed up the shoes a bit more, but i do think she looks good here.
For me, she looks lost in this dress. Maybe it’s the length of the dress on her, or/and her hair coming down to the bodice and hiding the most of her chest… maybe she is too short for that dress?
Yes, I feel that way too. I want to like it more, but it overwhlems her a bit. Hair back could have helped, and I, too, preferred the bodice on the runway. Maybe her height is working against her here.
I agree too, the fit and lenght was off, it made her look shorter and heavier. The bust was off too, it looked gathered and short. She should have kept the hair back and shortened the dress. It looked better on the runway IMO.
Good look- so glad it’s not black. She wanted to show off the twins just a little, and her bodice modification made it moire flattering.
Mila is a goodlooking girl. I do prefer the runway bodice because it looks different and interesting. Mila is a small girl so I’m not exactly sure a full A line dress like this really flatters her. I think it made her her a tad bit shorter and heavier. But that’s just being really picky. Overall she looks cute.
cute!!! love this hair to go with the dress.
