Jennifer Lawrence is becoming quite the red carpet regular as she attended the 2011 AFI Awards which were held at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills yesterday.
The blonde actress wore a Prabal Gurung Spring 2011 dress.
Her optic white stretch scuba sheath dress was thankfully paired with the Nicholas Kirkwood by Prabal Gurung black and white graphic platform heels.
I would’ve died had she worn this stand out dress with simple boring pumps.
She’s had her ups and downs, but Jennifer continues to be the one to watch on the red carpet for this Awards Season.
Wearing labels like Prabal Gurung means she’s definitely got her finger on the pulse for what’s hot.

My first thought was WTF is that? But I agree. With boring pumps it would have looked good.
Love the shoes. Glad she opted to wear red lipstick but again I wish she would have worn her hair in a ponytail.
luv luv luv….i want the entire ensemble
Me too!
Sorry to be pedantic, but they didn’t do a very good job of taking the hem up. Although kudos for attempting to keep the length ratio the same.
I agree, the hem looks slightly sloppy. Nonetheless, I adore this look.
Her hair is a little messy.
i agree
WOW. Who knew she had this in her. I love the shoes with the dresses
I’ll give Jennifer points for trying something different and pushing an edgy look but this appears unpolished to me. The hem doesn’t look finished properly and a dress as slick as this requires a little more effort in the hair department. A sleek ponytail or a cleaner hair-down look would have made this a much more impressive effort.
I agree completely, a little sloppy on the finishing details, hair and hem.
I bet she bored the dress hence the temporary hem solution but aside from that and her hair – it’s a good look for her
i don’t like the lip color!
Do not like this dress but the heels are awesome.
I agree with the commenters above about the hem and the hair. Love the shoes though!
Those shoes are EVERYTHING. I love the dress, I agree with the other commenters that her hair could have been sleeker but I love this look, I’d wear it (with better hai and a touch more accessories…) and she has a great figure.
I hope she does something intresting stylewise come the big award shows.
This look would have been perfect if she had done something different with her hair.
BDOTW nomination for this energizing dress. The heels are perfect as they add an uptempo charge to the dress.
I am so excited about her! I am not the biggest fan of this partiular look, in comparison to her others. I still love it though! It did, however, definitely call for a sleek upso or straight, high ponytail, and simpler makeup, and of course, a stronger pose!
I agree with many readers here that the hair could’ve been different – an updo or ponytail. But I love this look – young and upbeat and not too soft. I’m going to comment on every post of Jennifer Lawrence to help increase her visibility and awareness among people that aren’t movie buffs like me
She looks amazing….and would have looked even better with her hair up.
Hot! luv those heels, shame about the hair..
