Hailee Steinfeld In Marchesa – 2011 Critics’ Choice Awards

Most Adorable Award
I don’t know much about Hailee Steinfeld, but she must be one to watch if she’s being dressed by Marchesa.

The young actress wore the pink asymmetrical mini dress to the 2011 Critics’ Choice Awards which took place in LA last night.

I love how the rose blush dress with a floral gathered detail on the skirt gives her a rosy glow.

Nude strappy Jimmy Choo ‘Nexus’ ankle boots, a Van Cleef & Arpels’ Perlée diamond clover bracelet and a Judith Leiber clutch complemented her dress.

This is only the second time I have featured Hailee and I already love her style.

I’m kind of tired of these pale coloured dresses, they wash anyone out who doesn’t have a tan or brown skin and they are boring.
She looks very cute tho and she’s a good actress.

FC can I ask, what do you think of the controversy over the use of the word ‘nude’ to describe certain shades of shoes?

I think pale colored dresses look best on statuesque blondes. Like Charlize Theron or Uma Thurman (remember her GLOWING at the 2006 Oscars)

I have never heard of her, but damn, I love her style. Very cute! She actually reminds me a bit of Elle Fanning.

Hailee is new to Hollywood. Her first role was opposite Matt Damon and Jeff Bridges in True Grit….lucky her 😉

Love this look! Age appropriate too, which is nice

She does look lovely but I much prefer the dress on the model as it’s nicer with her skin tone

Cute. The dress is fun and I like the shoes. She was my best dressed youngster of the night, even better than Elle Fanning.

She’s the star of the new Coen brothers’ film ”True Grit” and has a good chance of being nominated for an Oscar this year.

I agree with your giving her the “most adorable” award. She has been consistently dressing well and age-appropriately for her past few appearances. She won Best Young Actor/Actress last night (and was nominated for Best Supporting Actress). She is also nominated for best supporting actress at the Screen Actor’s Guild awards, so we’ll be seeing a lot of her. :)

She has worn Stella McCartney before. I love this look, but I am not digging the draggy hair over the dress. Good choice by her stylist.

    She’s adorable.

Very pretty. I dont really like the shoes with the dress though.

I adore this on her, I was sure this would be one of the first dresses to be worn from the collection, and I am glad she wore it. Her shoes are to die for! The styling is perfection!

I really hope I dont come across as mean but I dont like this look on her at all. The hair ruins it for me and I know she’s a kid but surely someone couldve at least put a comb through her hair.

Very age appropriate while still stylish. Whoever her stylist is is doing a great job.

Flat, tired hair ruins an otherwise perfectly lovely look.

She looks great and age appropriate which is refreshing in the era of Taylor Momsen et al. However, if she had worn her hair in a loose braid over her left shoulder and Jimmy Choo Quinze booties instead of those clunkers it would be to die for!
