Best Dressed Teen Award
Most 12 year old girls are excited about wearing Topshop and H&M, Elle Fanning is continuing to wear Couture on the red carpet.
The young actress wore her second look from the Valentino Fall 2010 Couture collection to the 2011 Critics’ Choice Awards which was held last night at the Hollywood Palladium in LA.
She looked sweet and charming in her beige strapless dress with coral beading which was worn with a beige chiffon blouse.
As always her hair is kept clean and simple.
Her look was complete with cream Valentino Spring 2011 ankle strap heels which are lovely, but I would’ve died for the runway heels.
Does anyone else see a Valentino ad campaign in this girl’s future?

Best dressed of the event for me. That dress is gorgeous and I adore that chiffon blouse.
Do you know if she has a stylist? She most likely does, right? Whoever dresses her makes ALL the right choices, since she is 12, and is still well dressed and age apropriate.

Seriously. It must be quite difficult to not make her look to grown up but so far, I approve of all their efforts.
I feel weird having her as a bit of style icon but she’s fabulous. This is a great look, I’d like herr to wear more colour but yes, gorgeous dress that manages to be young but still beautiful.
I thought she looked great on the carpet, but seeing the shoes on the actual model…yeah, those would have been to-die-for.
I like this look ,but it is my least favourite Elle look yet. I honestly prefer her in marchesa, but that might be because I am really not a fan of Valentino. I hope she wears Marchesa during awards season.

Didn’t she wear the runway heels (or maybe something similar) with the last Valentino Fall 2010 dress that she wore recently? This look is so cute and so age appropriate. Would love to see her wear something with a bit of colour one day, but I’m sure she will have plenty of time for that.

She’s very gorwn up looking for twelve – look at her figure! In that sense, the stylist has done a fantastic job walking the line, keeping it interesting but also fun and light, so i’m impressed.
BDOTW nominee hands down but I like it when you wear a different designer than your dress.

Good work on keeping age- and event-appropriate, but I cannot like this colour on her. She’s too delicate and strawberries and cream complexioned for gold to work.

Such a cute look, when this reminds me a tad of the Marc Jacob dress she has worn late last year. Even though the colors are different, the styling of the dresses are similar. I would love to see the runway heels rather than the one Elle had worn.
However, I love the clean, age-appropriate look.
